  1. If you have reasonable cause to carry, ie a chef on route to work, a game warden, fishing, etc then no problems as coppers know when dealing with someone if this is the case. When i was a copper a couple of years back we stopped a 17 yr old kid in broad daylight in a shopping centre with a proper Rambo style hunting knife strapped to his back the blade was 14", and serated on the upper. his excuse for such an offensive weapon, was just in case he ever needed to use it. Because he had never been in trouble and admitted the offence of possession of an offesive weapon he was given a caution. Basically if you carry a knife you should do life............
  2. Pure GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bow::bow::bow:
  3. Good point Si, as im driving around if i see anything Z i give a flash of lights or just a nod, skylines, 200's', even 100's basically most of them and supras etc, but 350's just seem to look past as though you are not there, sure a few have replied, but most dont. Either way ours are quicker.............
  4. Could just have thrown a wheel weight, only needs to chuck a 5g bit and that will cause it too wobble, not as noticeable at higher speeds as the wheels virtually self balance. But between say 25-45 would.
  5. Exactly what i got hold of, direct fitment worked first time and cured problem. If your ptu is still loacted on left cam cover it is a fiddly job, re route it and put elsewhere, thus easier to get to if it goes wrong. Mine is now below large fuse box cover.
  6. all the little pipes and bits and pieces down towards the tubs, nuts and bolts etc that are already hidden under the sides of the plenium, you need to get a spanner on them, either you have to have octupus arms or no bones in your body, or the smallest hands in the world. When you eventually get a spanner down there it drops into eternal darkness and is lost for ever as you hope and pray that it falls to the ground..................NO CHANCE
  7. No probs mate, nearly out of spares now, good thing as im hoping to start breaking the jap very soon. Stu
  8. Some right shifty looking characters too around....
  9. First of the pics......
  10. Superb day out, good to meet all who attended, and some good giggles. Nice to see people who ive chatted to or reply to threads I was well chuffed, as i thought this could be the end of my 2nd zed, but it did it no worries. Big thanks to Topless for arranging. My little girl said "we are a really nice bunch" Stu
  11. Should be a good meet, ive got my new spark plugs in, its running much better, not perfect but much better.
  12. Mark i will grab a slot 11-12. Hopefully i will have my new plugs fitted by the test as all of a sudden one is messing about. But will still be there.
  13. Up until 2 days ago, the zed was perfect, but for some unknown reason, last night, driving along quite normal, pulled away from lights, yes its still quick and has as much power as before, however, it just dosent seem to rev as quick through the gears. Top speed is still the same, can hear the tubs are working, and the engine still as sweet as ever. I have checked.... 1. Still got spark, on all 6, ptu and injectors are fine 2. Got under the car, all appears good, small bit of oil on drivers tub, but im aware of this is the seals, as its been like since i bought the car. 3 gearbox is as should be. 4. Boost is good everything seems as it should be, but it dosent rev as quickly as it did. Could it be a crappy spark plug messing about, or the pcv valves are clogged or something else, this one has got me confused. Any pointers?
  14. Firstly check there is a spark to the coil pack? find the one that isnt working and swap with a working pack, if this dosent cure it, check the connections on the ptu, if its a series 1, there can just go like that, clean the connectors with a small file.
  15. with the price's decent zeds are fetching at the mo, which is far below what they should be, SORN it, and fix it when you can or are in a better position to do so. If you sell it with the problem as a fixer, it will gut you each time you see its new owner on here, when they have fixed it. Far too nice a zed to get rid off.
  16. Thanks for the vote of confidence guys, Barry im just down the A24 near Worthing, give me a bell and if i cant help, will try and put you in the right direction. 01903 774378 or 0759 1007914. Stu

  18. cool!!!!! woke up just now after a few beers and some wine last night, i can read it as normal. Looking back over it, i read it at the same speed as i would if it was spelt right. How weird????
  19. Wow that makes two of us.
  20. Matt, are these what you are after.
  21. Lets just say that i went out with £60, out of 12 races i backed 8 winners(wish i had done an accumilater) made nearly £80 profit by race 7, then it all changed for the better in race 8, as i bet on a trio(naming 1st,2nd,3rd in order) £4 bet and all came in order, and paid out £167. So after a good night walked away £247 up. I thank you.
  22. Just cruising back from a great night at the greyhounds with my girlfriend, taking it easy along Brighton seafront. keeping to the speed limit(rare!!) When two chav's come zooming behind me, revving and flashing lights, trying to get me to go for it. So i stick to the limit, as i got the tops off i really cant be asked with them. Im chilling. Not the car behind me, but the twit behind him, decides he wants to overtake his mate and me, so off onto the other side of the road he goes, with his engine screaming he flies past his mate, then as he is level with me, his mate decides to join him. As im still on the right side of the road now level with this pathetic crappy CRX and Fiesta on the wrong side, he looks at me rides his clutch and revs to show me how much power he has. I look ahead and cant believe what is at the road junction waiting to turn right (our direction) But a very nice silver Merc police car (traffic) watching it all For some reason, the two chavs slow down and pull in behind me. At which point the police car is now flashing his lights, so i slow down and bring the idiots to a stop, the copper pulls along side me, and says" dont worry mate, its not you i want to chat with, its these two idiots," I reply " No worries pal" lean out of my window, and look at the little boyz behind and just smile, and drive away slowly.................... Dont mess with me when im enjoying cruising in my zed...............:hyper:

The can be found in "Trailer and tarp world in Lewes" lol lol Chris, if this is what i think its for, just get hold of a length of 10mm threaded rod, cut to size say 5", then bend over in a vice and weld at differnt points...... or get some heay duty coat hooks and use rivets to attach.
