  1. http://www.chromepaint.com is the same company in England, it’s where I got my metal flake from.
  2. The side repeaters were clear; I mixed some black with some 2k clear. I got some clear back ones to do the same as with the third eye brake light. I got the side repeaters from http://www.performancelights.co.uk £14.99 the good thing about them is you know if there in stock so you won’t wait forever (they came in two days). The flake came from http://www.chromepaint.com which Marcz32 found, lots of good paints on there.
  3. I wanted to keep the car simple; I like the car that way. 99 spec front bumper because it’s a Nissan, tailgate skin and headlight panel that’s it. As for the colour the car was silver to start with and I like silver ones. In normal light the car just looks silver but in direct light it has a rainbow effect. The metal flakes are very fine so it doesn’t look like a crappy Max Power Corsa. I liked the third eye brake light in the original spoiler so I put a BMW mini one in the tailgate skin. I wanted to keep the car all black and silver so I smoked the side repeaters and back bumper side lights (I think the back lights might look good black). I got a sign maker to cut some black matt 9mm coach lines so I could put them back on. I think the car looks nice and clean. Thanks for all the feedback m8s.
  4. My cars finished....What do you think?
  5. It’s a back light from a BMW mini….. I was driving behind one one day and thought it looked the same shape as the tailgate skin. It took a bit moulding work to do it but it looks cool, it’s L.E.Ds. I mixed some black to two pack clear to smoke it down.
  6. Upgrades are powerflow custom made twin 6x4 exhaust (very loud), Blitz dump valves, Blitz turbo timer, Apexi filter and under drive pulley which I did when I did the timing belt, water pump, tensioner and thermostat. Performance chip I think next.
  7. Yes; I did the re-spray in my garage at home, it’s just a single garage but don’t let that fool you. It’s amazing what you can do if you take your time and have over 20 years in custom spraying. I thought the metal flake would be too MAX POWER but it's not like that on silver. Some pic’s on going work, finished pic’s coming soon. It looks like I could be on for the meet.
  8. After eight months of working on my car it’s back on the road. I’ve done a full 60k service some performance upgrades and a full re-pray in silver rainbow metal flake (pictures very soon). Took it for it’s m.o.t. yesterday and it past with no problems (not bad for all the work that's been done) then I taxed it. Ooooooo…….It feels so good to get back in the driving seat, didn’t have time to drive it yesterday but I’ll be taking it out for the first time tonight. Is it not 5.30 yet? Paul
  9. She’s the best…..she loves the Z and is always 100% behind me in what ever I do. Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. Best Wishes to all Paul
  10. I've got a silver car so clear ones would look better on mine.
  11. Cheers m8...... You'll see the Z tonight, I'll put some good pic's on when it's totally finished (don't want to give to much away). See you later bud. best wishes Paul
  12. How cool is my birthday card…. This is the birthday card my misses had made for me. It’s only got my car on it. It was made by a lady who makes custom cards in the village where I live; she’s a really nice woman and all the money she makes goes to cancer research. She does it as a hobby and makes two a day (not bad for a hobby). I think she’s done an amazing job, the cars made up out of layers which give a really good 3D effect. Paul
  13. So you think that’s bad Mmmmmm….
  14. Remember what happened when they put the petrol prices up. People were blocking the petrol stations and going mad trying to buy petrol. Just think what would happen if this did happen. I just hate it when stuff like this comes up, these cars cost enough money to keep on the road without this sh*t.
  15. Do you feel as sick as I do? A m8 at work showed me the paper today with the governments latest daylight robbery tactics for car tax. It would cost me £1500 a year to tax my Z and £600 to tax my 1.2 Punto. Who, I mean WHO the fook comes up with this sh*t If it happens I’ll be very p*ssed off. Paul
  16. See my post about oil changes…. My car does the same thing but it’s not the oil. It’s not as straight forward as it seems, I’ve done allsorts to my car and it still does it (I hope it’s not turbo problems). I don’t think it will be the turbos because I’ve a Blitz turbo timer and Blitz dump valves. Still looking for solutions, it needs M.O.T now and I think it will fail on this. Paul
  17. Looked at the pic’s (good stuff) I did all the work on my car too (inc full spray job and major service) See what you think when I get the pic’s on. Best Wishes Paul
  18. I was in my punto at the time. Just putting the finishing touches to mine so I can get it M.O.Ted. It just had a major service and a cool spray job. Membership will go through soon so I’ll be putting some pic’s on there.
  19. If you can train it to drive a Z that’s what I’ll be.
  20. Is that a towel or a shadow on the third picture?
  21. It's the love child of a mini and box.
  22. Them ones have got nuts in them. That's broken nuts.
