  1. you can get any colour in direct gloss except for metallics, ive used it a million times myself.
  2. if you buy direct gloss with activator, you wont need the laquer atall fella
  3. hi m8, you did'nt need to use laquer anyway on solid colours, but you can if you want its optional, the easiest way is to buy your red in direct gloss you get a better finish and its better for polishing, whats happened to yours is that you have mixed the paint too thick and the cool air overnight has blown it, if you had'nt used laquer, you could have salvaged that, when you do it again, use 2k direct gloss with express activator, that way you can paint and buff within 2 days, pm me if you need any more advise on painting fella.
  4. hi bud, dont go near these jokers with your mates barge pole, my brother had an alarm and tracker fitted on his scooby of them, and his car was nicked in feb this year, they told us it could'nt be tracked cause either the tracker had been removed or it was in a garage or the satelite was down ,( what a load of crap ), when the car got recovered two weeks later, the tracker was still there, we got an independant specialist out to check it and everything was conected but we found out that they had'nt been registering the trackers and just pocketing the money, also the alarm didnt work when it was taken, make your own mind up, but if i see any one from that company, god help em !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :xxx:
  5. this is a couple of pics of mine fella, hopefully if you see enough, you will probably get some ideas, good luck.[/img] [/img]

  8. hi m8, zeds are a right bugger to get a pedal unless you know this, you need to get the front of the car up in the air as high as you can without fookin up bodywork and what have ya, now bleed the slave and then bleed the one under the bonnet, took me 3 very stressfull l8 nights at work b4 i rang my dads old pal at nissan, its just one of those little quirks of the car, good luck fella.
  9. Glad you got it sorted fella, your right about the evil sense of humour :)
  10. Paint thinners is most effective, and does'nt kill you whilst doing it.
  11. spiggot rings are vital in your rims unlesss you have direct fit alloys, and by the sound of it, you dont, the main problem with not havin them, is as andy p said, it can cause wheel studs to snap and also you get wheel wobble aswel if the wheel is not centered, for what they cost, its worth havin them fella, just go to your local alloy wheel shop.
  12. Hi Chris, I had a similar problem to this about a year ago on my 1990 z32, would like to mention though m8, your car should'nt be idling at 1200 rpm, it seems a bit high, just a couple of things you can try though if you've not already sorted it, first of all the obvious like your air filter, just check thats its clean, also your engine temp sensor, its at the front of the engine and goes into the water inlet pipe, mine has a yellow plug attached to it, just whip it out and clean it up with some wire wool / brillo pad, this can cause bad problems with idle and also starting, might also be worth running a bit of redex through the tank aswel, just in case you may have any build up in the idle speed control valve, if not pal, depending on where you live , quite a few of the lads in the club do have conzult, and i'm sure they would help you out fella, good luck with it m8, let me know how you get on.
  13. try a tin of spray on brake cleaner fella, its solvent based and cleans pretty much anything of anything :)
  14. thats some explosion m8, shit i feel for you pal, but at the same time its kind of funny, nice z m8
