  1. happened on mine recently. The control unit for the a/c moves a little bit. If the indicators stop working just press around the screen and wiggle the binnacle and all works again. Also happens sometimes after pressing the hazard light switch.

The blue m reg n/a didn't come from dealer called nexus recently did it?
  3. just plug in a bluefin handset. Cost £300 -ish and raise a std 130 tdci to 155bhp like the st and an st up to about 175bhp. Done in minutes apparently
  4. I believe the offset range for the zed is 35-42 so you should be ok
  5. if you have a uk car phone firebond for a classic policy. If it's a jap car then try lifesure. best of luck!
  6. :( o.k i'm being stupid. got a replacement gearknob, simple case of unscrew old and "screw" new one on.The old one is a bit stubborn and i don't want to force it and "screw" something else up. The question is do i use a bit more force to undo it or is there a much simpler way(apart from :duffer: not replacing it in the first place!)
  7. probably when the fluid level drops the problem occurs. Top up and its ok until level drops again? - replace seal! if it's a rear seal leaking it's not supposed to be too difficult or expensive. either way, get the seller to sort it before you buy or make sure the car is damn cheap!
  8. the mis fire is probably due to too much oil in engine fouling up the electrodes. check to see if plugs are o.k. if dirty, clean (not with wire brush!)or replace them altogether. The smoke (sure it's white?) is probably just the residue left in the exhaust. this will burn off over time.
