  1. I've fitted them to my car bud, i'll try find the diagram fo the bracket you need to get made up.
  2. mine are fitted under the bumper in place of the re-circ valves, but also have a set that fit to the hard pipes. I think if i remember correctly, i read somewhere that the best place for them to be is as close as possible to the throttle bodies...in which case would be on the hard pipes. I may be wrong, so please anyone correct me if i am :D Sean.

  7. Sorry to butt in....but if you need one...i have plenty of inverters that will run the back panels 100% perfectly. I have supplied quite a few people on here with them and they've worked a treat! Let me know if you need 1. Sean.
  8. I have a pair of veilside ones fitted to my car...build quality is very good! very sterdy! I had a broken mirror backplate about 7months ago i contacted veilside to see about a replacement one and the mirrors are no longer in production so unless you can source a pair, the gandor ones seem the only way to go...but these seem to be more or less the same mirror.
  9. Correct!!! I have done the grounding of the bulb trick as a temporary fix until i get chance to do the full relay mod. At mo my hids come on if i flash main beam during the day while the lights are switched off. HTH, Sean.

  18. I found this, it may help to give u an idea on which category the insurance may place your car (if they write it off). Think yours will lie in the Cat C/D area??? More than likely Cat D! Good news is though...if they do write it off, you will be able to buy it back! (I remember speaking to my insurance company when my last car got wrote off to buy back is generally 20% of the cars value). Hope this all helps! Sean. When an insurance company decides not to repair a vehicle they will issue it with a salvage classification category. Salvage categories were introduced in an effort to curb vehicle crime in the UK. They were developed by the Association of British Insurers (ABI) with the assistance of vehicle recyclers, the DVLA and the UK Police Force. The categories are as follows: # A - Not for resale. Fire damaged (burnt-out), flood damaged (contaminated or salt water), severely damaged with no serviceable parts, or heavily stripped (shell). Notification of Destruction required. (To be crushed). (Recorded at DVLA & HPI). # B - Not for resale. Damaged beyond economical repair and/or severe structural damage. Notification of Destruction required. (Parts can be removed and sold). (Recorded at DVLA & HPI). # C - Repairable salvage. Generally applies to older vehicles. Can be sold for repair but must now have VIC inspection. (Recorded at DVLA & HPI). # D - Repairable salvage. Minimal damage sometimes stolen and found after claim has been paid, or cost of repair combined with difficulty obtaining new parts to enable a swift repair. (Recorded with HPI). # X - Repairable salvage. Not recorded on any registers such as HPI. Limited or very light damage, or vehicle is new or less than 12 months old. Usually requires minimal repair work. (NOT Recorded with HPI).
  19. ;) no probs :D  bloody windows media crap crap crap!!!!!
  20. http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/download/index.php
  21. Think i've sussed it now maybe..... I only had windows media player installed on comp so was playing it back through that, so i then downloaded the divX player from the divX website just to try it out and now the movie plays back perfectly!!! I think maybe the film was encoded with a codec that media player cant quite cope with on its own. It plays back perfectly 100% through DivX player, but still all gobbeldy gook through media player.
  22.    are they really that bad???
  23. cheers for the info mate, i think i'll give them a miss then...besides i've just noticed that my brakes will need renewing very soon so i think they must take priority first over anything else.
