  4. Hi guys, I'm in the process of trying to find a reasonably priced suspension setup for my zed...been searching on ebay and found a few different setups....just wondered if anyone has had any experience with the following ones? Megan Racing Coilovers http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Megan-Coilover-Damper-Kits-Nissan-300ZX-Z32-92-96_W0QQitemZ270418988525 BC Racing BR Coilovers http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BC-Racing-BR-Coilover-Suspension-Nissan-300ZX-Z32-90-96_W0QQitemZ270395836949 BG Racing Coilovers http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BG-ADJUSABLE-COILOVER-NISSAN-300ZX-Ser-331_W0QQitemZ270413870586 Any input would be greatfully appreciated! CheerZ, Sean.
  5. Just renewed via paypal :)
  6. OUCH!!!! £50 for a pair of side repeaters..... Good job they're only around the £15 mark now for some cheapies...could always use the rubbers from them if you have a decent quality set like nismo or the likes...
  7. snap...you beat me to it
  8. possible group buy anyone??? if the seals are available seperately....seems like quite a few ppl have this problem an i bet there will be loads more to come aswell......
  9. I'll also be interested to hear what they say. I'm in need a set too as mine are currently held back together by superglue. Be good if we can replacements...
  10. Yea i know the place...looks expensive lol I'm an electrician, work for a company called Fisher Electrical. I know of a few other zeds around town but none on the forum. Theres a white one somewhere around the monkmoor area, a standard red one aound the shrewsbury school area, another silver one with a big high spoiler, and a standard black one about too. Unfortunately i dont know any of them personally...they never hang about long enough to say hi to.
  11. Doing quite a few things really... Changing viscous fan for a massive 16" electric one, fitting a front mounted intercooler, changing front bumper, maybe changing the front headlight panel too, changing interior carpet as mine is knackered with holes in it by the pedals, sortingmy boot install out once and forall aswell... Still got loads more stuff sat around here that needs to go on...but i think i've set myself a worthy enough task for now with all of the above lol. Where abouts do you work in shrews then?
  12. Just looked at his ride... Those are mikalor/mikalor style clamps. Thats what im after...
  13. Hi guys, Just after abit of help really on the best place to by the above clamps cheaply...I want to get rid of all the crappy jubilee type clamps on the main hoses under my bonnet. I'd like the all stainless W4 versions but they are mega bucks...so i guess the half and half W2 versions would do just as good. I guess they dont have to be mikalor, they could be any make as long as they are good quality and stainless.... Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction? CheerZ in advance! Sean.
  14. I was up until sunday just gone...decided to undergo a few changes, so she's off the road for time bein. Will be back on the road within the next few weeks though so yea keep a look out for me! She looks like this, at the mo: You out and about in yours? i'll keep a look out for you too... Where abouts in shropshire are ya? obviously quite local if your in and out of shrews...
  15. Gold and silver 5 spoke split rim wheels? Obviously he not on the forum...will make a "U" turn next time i see him about.
  16. Also in addition, i remembered there is a little switch on a flying lead attached to the inverter which is an isolater switch...switch it while you have confirmed 12v going to the inverter... Sean.
  17. From your sills you should have 2 wires coming from each side. On the inverter you should have a red and a black, and 2 seperate back cables...red and black are 12v which you connect to your 12v supply ie..interior light, etc... the other 2 black cables coming from your inverter go to the 2 cables coming from the el panel of the sill. same procedure for the other side... If its not working then, confirm you have 12v at your source connection point by using a multi meter, if still not working after confirmation then you have a possible problem with either the inverter or the el panel. From previous reading about these el sills there was alot of trouble with water ingress causing them to go faulty. My 2 penny worth...hope its of some help? Sean.
  18. I thought that zeds used different types of o2 sensor depending on the year??? I've seen them with two white wires and a black, or (like mine are) a red, a white and a black....
  19. Think if i remember correctly, the only reason there are two part numbers is because one side has longer wires than the other. May be wrong though, so dont take that as gospel...
  20. As above, Pearl White, "H" plate... saw you at harlscott esso petrol station 7.45pm yesterday evening (friday). Very nice looking zed you got there! I drove past and noticed you out of the corner of my eye...i tried to beep my horn but it wasnt working, so you wouldn't of noticed me.
  21. Just like to also point out that if anyone does want to go ahead with this conversion you will need to modify you hubs where the stock caliper bolts to it...there is a lug that needs to be cut off with a grinder or hacksaw (if you dont mind the arm ache) as you will see in krsmayo's 1st and 2nd pictures it fouls where the bracket sits so needs to be removed...after that though all will bolt up hunky dorey. All you need then is some brake lines made up to go from nissan to brembo. (think if i remember correctly the nissan fittings were different and also the pipe needed to be longer). I made my own braided lines for about £20 so its not megga bucks to do.
  22. I think those are the measurements i gave to the guy that made my brackets, they fitted perfectly...only thing i changed was that instead of tapping the back plate, i had the guy just drill a 12mm hole and i used nuts n bolts.
  23. I paid £200 for a pair of evo 9 calipers that had only done 10k miles...and that was almost a year ago, credit crunch an all that has obviously brought the prices down quite considerably!!! I'll be selling my brackets and discs soon as i am upgrading to bigger discs yet again so i'll need to make new brackets to suite my bigger discs.
  24. Well i fitted them with 350z discs...and trust me, they make one hell of a difference!!! wave bye bye to brake fade after excessive braking which i used to get alot with using my old stock calipers.
