  1. Cool, glad about that, will look out for the pics......"sparkly baby pink"??? really can't get my head around that!!!! but as you say unique, no worries about the "was it you" section!!!!

would a straight swap work regardless of N/A or T/T? mine's a jap N/A so could I swap the dials from a UK T/T without any adjustments at all?? didn't think it would be that simple...or am I being naive??
  3. Just seen the pink rex on front cover of Banzai mag, seem to remember someone here was getting their zed 'pinked' fairly recently, Anna I think - but not sure. Have been on hols, did I miss the photos of the end result?? Can't quite visualise it myself...........
  4. I know it's already been suggested but I had a similar problem last year, turned key - clicking noise and nothing else, which turned out to be a dodgy battery......I was charging it up, but it wouldn't hold enough to turn her over. I tried jumping her, but there wasn't enough in the missus's 205 to turn her over either...big ol' lump!!!! Bought a new battery and she started up first time...thankfully. Hope it turns out to be something that simple, good luck
  5. had a look recently, nice stuff, good prices...but not too keen on the delivery costs!!!!! unless I'm reading it wrong it can more than double the cost of the order!!

sorry people, am on hols that week, great idea though...both me and the missus would have been fighting "L-D" for last place...sorry to let you down, will think of you whilst on the beach!!!
  7. Ah, but was that before, or after, she got 'pulled' by plod for not having a "clearly displayed" front number plate?? (see general discussion) If it was afterwards then I reckon she has a valid excuse for thinking about other things........ you know what girls are like for a guy in a uniform!!!!
  8. Totally agree......mines in having one fitted as we 'speak'....can't wait to get her back!!!
  9. dropped mine off at zedworld last saturday, same story there as well. As you, new discs etc!!!
  10. Mines a '90 import, N/A and I've just got red reflectors...another thing to add to the list of things waiting to be sorted out!!!!
  11. A**e, not much else I can say, sorry mate
  12. Hiya, just received my membership pack, very impressed and well worth the wait. Obviously a lot of hard work on your part, along with other commitee members etc. putting it all together, let alone sending them all out. Well done all of you and thanks very much almost forgot, detail sheet is in the post!!!
  13. Hi Jay, could be the same one I've seen around cosham recently, don't think owners on this site...yet. Seems the 300 is getting really "common" round here, have seen 4 this week alone a red one in copnor, another red one at the seagull, weird looking paint job on that one, flock wallpaper effect..no offence meant as I only caught a brief glimpse !!!!! silver H reg in Gosport and a red one in sainsburys c/pk SIL ****, have seen that one a couple of times, split front spoiler, poss kerb damage!!! Hows yours coming along, have been following your tale of woe, hope its sorted
  14. Ouch, been there...week after I bought her, died on A34 as I was overtaking a truck...kinda sticks in the memory!!! got it recovered to Hilsea Nissan, hmmmmm...at least I know better these days!!! Hope you get it sorted soon
  15. guess it wasn't you I saw by Alex Park this morning then. Sorry to hear you've got problems, something annoying or major? Won't mention cost 'cos it'll be expensive either way!! Hope all's sorted soon, cheers
  16. Hmmmm, I should be so lucky......tried removing mine a couple weeks back, cover and nuts come away easy enough but everything else seems welded together, tried "gentle persuasion" and then gave up for fear of knackering them completely!! When I'm feeling brave I may try the modified puller route, not too sure about blow-torch - bonnet and scuttles are tatty enough as it is...unless there are any other suggestions out there, cheers
  17. Hiya, may well have seen you around, I know there are a couple of silvers in the area, seen a few greys and blacks as well, not to mention at least three reds!! I tend to cycle around town...yeah, I know, but its easier, quicker and sitting in jams really winds me up!!! However, pointless waving to drivers cos they just think I'm another nutter on a bike....probably true though!! Always amazed at the number of zeds in this area, have just done a 2 week camping trip around midlands, north east and cumbria and only saw 2 - both around Newark, can't be the weather 'cos it was great for running with the roof off, wierd!!
  18. A Blue one parked up in Burfields car park, I was in the grey jap that "tooted" you, then saw a very nice, shiney black G reg(roof off of course) driving past "macky D's" at Cosham. I know there's quite a few Zeds around here, but haven't seen either of you before!!!
  19. Hiya, finally got around to paying up, using good old plastic, via paypal. Not sure what I need to do now, but would like inside stickers. Cheers, Steve W
  20. Looks effective, thanks for the info. Travel A3 quite a bit so may see you about, cheers
  21. was on my way to Norfolk, spent a while "parked" on M25 in the rain!!! Nice lookin' job on your 300, mines looking a bit rough at the moment!! Forgive me for asking but where'd you get the "Z" on the center rear light panel done, not seen one like it anywhere, v.cool
