i had to give up riding for 5 years beacause of an injury. i tore the muscles at the base of my spine.... :eek: .... ....opening the garage door to get the bike out :shock:

was it an old S4, as i thought the last shape S4 was good for 400+bhp

it was good to meet everyone. but i don't think i'll be able to do it regularly, it was a 70 mile round trip!

the stupid tossers, if they survived then they'll both be scarred for life after the long spell in hospital. a mate of mine was seriously injured in a bike accident at 30mph, they don't stand a chance. i used to have to wear full body armour when i was downhilling, and thats on a mountain bike FFS!!!

might get the zed out and take a drive over tomorrow night

mine do this and the car has only done 33k miles. i think the pistons might be sticking. any idea of price for the caliper overhaul kit? i'll be changing the pads soon so might aswell do it all together

the socket they use to remove the nuts without a key has threaded teeth inside it with a left hand thread, so as you tighten the socket the threads bite into the wheel nut and eventually undo the nut.

i will miss it a little when it goes, but i want a proper car now, so make way for the Zed :bow:

i doubt there will be a master key. i've lost the key for my wheels. waiting for a mate to get hold of a special socket that will remove them.

it is nippy, 0-60 comes in about 8secs, nothing spectactular, but good fun all the same. plus everyone thinks its a 1.2 :D

that would probably be microwave sensors instead of the ultrasonics

ultrasonics, is using sound waves to detect movement. pet mode turns off the sensors as your pet, or even a little fly for that matter, will set the alarm off. you'll also need to put it in pet mode if you leave the car with the targas off.

i'll be fitting a stick-on number plate on the front, no problems with air-flow and it won't come off when i boot it. as for the rear i want to fit a jap sized plate, is this legal? also what about jap style lettering?

i would like to drive mine, driven it for a total of 3 days, and now the gearbox is playing silly buggars :nono:

I went and had a chat with Zed World today, they've advised me that the filter and pick-up is blocked. was told to drop oil, clean filter out and refill again. I went to my local motor-factors [conveniently across the road from my house :dance:] and they are doing Dextron 3 £20 for 5ltrs. I was also advised by Zed World the box probably won't last beyond 6mths, so will be saving for a manual conversion then.

thanks greg where do i get dextron iii ATF from, just any motor factors or halfrauds? will start saving for a manual conversion i think. what sort of price can i expect to pay and what sort of power will the manual box hold?

yes and same in park, both with engine running and shut off. going to change the oil and filter for now, then get saving up. wheres best place to get the filter?
