I beat Chris to 60 as he could not get proper traction, after that he toasted me. This was expected.... N/A is stock.........Chris's TT is mental......

Its a project what have I got to loose, whats the point putting tubs on it this totaly defeats the object. TT's do rule :dance: I have both N/A and TT but would like to see how far a N/A can be pushed without using forced induction or nitros. I have a few spare engines to play with so it will give me something to do on these cold lonely nights. There are only a handful of members who have actually attempted to re-engineer the stock engine, without using aftermarket parts. as aftermarket parts can have negative effects as they are not properly designed and have not been tested properly on the Z engine. Don’t read into this the wrong way, Iam not claiming to able to produce better products than anyone else and that aftermarket products are bad. Iam just going to use some basic techniques which people seem to have long forgotten. If it works then thumbs up if it doesn’t then I will buy loads of greddy stuff of Chris and will try again :tongue:

Now the cats out of the bag, Iam pleased to announce that Project N/A is now underway. Around March time myself and Chris "and anyone else who wants to play out" are going to battle at Pod. For me its just for fun and also a very interesting project. In my opinion anyone can go out and buy pre made performance parts of the shelf for there TT's, bolt them on and think there car is improved by 1000hp. To my this is boring and does not require much engineering ability’s. For example you want to build a fast PC, so you go out and but the fastest components as possible, throw them in a case and power on. Most people leave it at that and think they have built the fastest PC money can buy. I myself are taking it a step further and are going to see if I can produce a car which not only I can use as a respectable daily driver but also will hold its own at pod. I know what all the stock times are and Iam not really interested. I also know that I have no chance in hell beating Chris unless he makes a mistake but Iam planning on it to be close. Most parts I use will be modified stock N/A parts, the plan is to try and produce this car at as little expense as possible by removing metal and not adding it . The engine will be re-mapped to allow for this of course. What R your thoughts....

If you can buy it back and its repairable I have enough parts to help you rebuild her. If you can find a good bodyshop I will donate whatever parts you need. Take care and keep me updated bud

Guys we have most of the connectors in stock. I have found a supplier who sells every connector under the bonnet in 1 complete kit. These are all genuine nissan connector with new pins and rubber boots :D simply chop off the old and on with the new, all pins are golld plated :bow: Price will be around £280 delivered, I have them on back order. May sound expensive but whats the point in buying expensive engine upgrades when half of your connectors are green and perished. I have replaced most of my connectors on one of my Zs and boy you can hear and feel the difference as soon as you put yor foot down. As they cost so much we shall not make them a stock item, just order only.

Well I might as well start my own garage thats fixes Zeds. You must build at least 1 engine to qualify :)

Mike that is perfection mate, well done you deserve it :) If soups were cheaper to buy, then we would all drive them and take the piss out of the Zs....FACT

As long as its straight, buy it matey these cars are great fun. You can thrash them all day long and have a better chance of starting them the next day :D

Tim dont think its a std head unit. It has been bought like that to run on a Z, apparently the guy can adjust air/fuel/timing on the fly bit like consult. Want 1 Want 1 :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
