  1. If you're on about a certain person that likes bling then there are distinct similarities
  2. Cheers for all the info. cool sigs btw
  3. 5.7 litre v8 engine To be fair they're very similar cars though
  4. There you go: The Lt1 which ran from 93-97 and the Ls1 on the right which ended in 2002. Lt1 and Ls1 are engine codes though dunno what the chassis codes are. Just called 4th generation I think.
  5. right I thought that would be the case. So if your idle revs are set too high does the car creep forwards when your foot isn't on the pedal?
  6. ooh I'm not sure I'd like to say. Its a car that at first I thought was quite ugly but the more I look at it the more I love it.... Chevrolet Camaro Lt1 or Ls1 I want them for the engine though really ;) And can you stall an auto?
  7. Thanks for that. I was watching the dukes of hazzard the other day and the general lee was an auto and (although I know the film is hardly a realistic dramatisation of true events in the southern states) thought well it can't be all bad. I suppose the least I can do is test drive some auto cars.
  8. If you wanted to accelerate as fast as possibe in an automatic car do you just put it in drive and put pedal to the metal? Also how fast is the gear change on an auto zed? Just wondering as in my search for a new car I may have to get an automatic (since its american) and since I've never driven one I feel I may have been shunning them unfairly.
  9. hehe thanks a lot mate. The drummer in my old band used to do all the drums for me they were basically the only bits I never did. But now I've had to start doing them myself and they have to be my least favourite part. But its a learning process I suppose. Al
  10. For driving fast in. and For cruising around in.
  11. Lucky boy. These new evo's the turbo chargers seem to be getting bigger and bigger. Does that mean stock they are already highly tuned so you can't get loads more out of them by usual means?
  12. not of bond songs ;) But you can get our album for free at http://www.blooter.com You have to register first though.
  13. just mashed this up together for it so it can go on youtube
  14. wow you're like the terminator!
  15. Too right about borrow and lend. People must think I'm a twat when I say it but if someone says 'can I lend a tenner' to me I always say 'ooh yes please'.
  16. hmm it should. try at http://www.myspace.com/britsunsigned I put it up there too.
  17. hey thanks for the replies. I get all excited when I record a new song and ask people to listen. Usually they tell me to go away but since this is bond related I figured you might want to have a butchers. Cheers! Made my morning.
  18. Took it upon myself to write the theme tune for the next Bond movie. No idea what its called but I got an idea of what its about so I thought I'd have a go. Don't be expecting more Chris Cornel though, its a slow grower. Its at http://www.myspace.com/theuniversals or with a slide show (probably better): you can download it from the myspace afterwards though.
  19. I had a mate called 'Ian Morgans' and I'd say stuff like "Where's Ian Morgans pencil case" which is obviously incorrect as no one would say "where's Alex Ford pencil case?" No one would help me look for my pencil case for a start but saying "Ian Morganses" just sounds babyish. And of course we didn't want to sound like a baby. Otherwise you may never get your pencil case back.
  20. Damn I missed it too when was the first one on? I should be able to watch it on Telewest replay if it wasn't over a week ago.
  21. Now to me I've always found that weird. For a start saying H as an a-ch is just wrong. Correct english yes but just plain silly. It just confuses people and people start going all french and saying things like An hospital An Hotel etc (which I thought was 'ect' for ages!)... A E I O U what a belly a-ch
  22. "wow that AlFo is well thick, if he sells that car the average zed owner iq must be goin up a bit!" Yeah yeah whatever mr shiney car
  23. I suppose people don't think about it because no one ever highlights it. In primary school they teach you the difference between their and there and stuff like i before e except after c (which is a load of rubbish), but no one really mentions bought/brought unless someone is heard or seen to have used either incorrectly. It is weird though isn't it. can't believe you started a whole thread after reading a spelling mistake in my for sale post you git-bag ;)
