Well had a go at fixing this today only I couldn't get the door PANEL off. When panel was mentioned before I thought of the door CARD. The card was a bugger getting off too though. It was that little plastic bit that was broken and replaced it but obviously I couldn't reattach it to the key unit as there wa a big door panel in the way. Oh well.

It was very sad to see him get sent off like that. I'm pretty sure his temperament is pretty good, his disciplinary record is generally for stuff like miss-timed tackles etc. But he's been the most consistently amazing player of the past decade.

sounds like an auto dial to me. especially as it would take a pretty silly prankster to wake up at 5 in the morning just to ring someone.

yeah I heard that. Follows on from 1 and 2 and disregards 3 and 4 cus they're not so good. Although I do like superman 3 myself.

They filmed parts 2 and 3 together I think part 3 is coming out next may.

Well the lock isn't broken but the key mechanism is. i.e. I can't open or lock the door using my key. Anyways does anyone know of any mobile company who could come and fix it in the wolverhampton area. Or where would you usually get this problem fixed? My lock has been dodgy since I had the car. sometimes to lock it by turning clockwise I had to go a little anti-clockwise first. Also some of you may know I had an engineer who couldn't attach the toad alarm to my central locking since he couldn't fit a solenoid in the drivers door. So if you know of a company who could both fix the lock as well as attach my alarm to the central locking that would be most excellent. I'm pretty annoyed since if I had had the alarm fitted to the central locking in the first place the key mechanism would probably still be working! Cheers, Al

You can see on the slow motion replay that the ref was waving people away after the stamp as he seemed to see it as accidental. But as soon as rooney shoved the dickhead the refs whole manner changed and he sent rooney off. Remember that when beckham got sent off against the argies he gave ariel ortega the smallest of taps and he went down in apparent thierry henry-esque agony. It's not the force its the meaning behind it. Maybe the stamp would have got a yellow as well as the shove put both together and you've got red.

If you see one in the cannock area feel free to knock them off the road. Well you can probably guess what happened to my zed while I was stocking up on beer and bbq stuff at the cannock tescos today. Ooh it makes me mad. I feel like pushing a portugese step-overing cheat and stamping on some saxo drivers balls.

Do you get cruise control on a manual?

How much success have people had with this? I've just put some strips in mine (cut from a manky rubber floor mat that came with the car!) so only time will tell. Mine wasn't too bad at first but after I took the targa apart to install some new trim it hasn't gone back together quite so well. Wet bum this morning :(

I dunno why but since I got my zed I have noticed a ton of zeds and other import nissans have the same JxxxSDH number plate. Weird huh!

Kinda glad I missed that then, I was a bit piffed off when I read the post. Ah well I'll have to watch kill bill again to get my celluloid zed kicks.

I recently replaced one of the targa bits and the two small bits with new ones but I'd rather not buy replacements for the windscreen ones. I'd rather not strip all the rubber off the windscreen trim either so I'd probably just go over the bits of crome showing with some plastic paint. I'm sure there will be people who would reccomend to strip off the rubber in its entirety though.

yeah the thing that has 3 sections.. the bit up the sides of the windscreen, followed by a bit on the side of the targa followed by a small little bit inbetween targa and tail gate. I imagined spraying would be better. If you used plasticote does that mean your wipers feel rubbery now? These plastic sprays leave a weird picture in my head.

Hi there I know there are some posts on this already, expecially on the plastic trim that tends to crack away to reveal chrome underneath. I've read about boot polish, plasticote (?) and even black insulation tape to make it look better, so I was wondering if any of these would do the trick. Also I'm a bit lazy so could I get brush on paint rather than spray so I could do the job without removing the rear wiper? Cheers all. Al

omigod! I was thinking of getting alloys and tbh didn't want anything bigger than the stock 16's. The chrome oems look amazing! I'll definately be looking into that when I got some spare cash. Go for it!

Does this happen for the top speed in all gears? If it's just 5th gear I know this may sound silly but could it possibly be the japanese speed limiter?

will the externals stay on? Good stickiness I take it?

Can't tell from the picture but are your rear windows tinted?
