Are red zeds not metallic then? I thought metallic just meant the paint had little specs of metal in it, why does it have to be metallic to get a clear coat? Surely the clear coat is a good protection for all paints.

Aah! That explains a lot. The bonnet of my car has patchy areas where the paint seems to have lightened. I've used t-cut on this and some other similar product and they have had absolutely no effect.

Thanks ;) I didn't think so. Just finished my headlight panels and have done the laquer but now have to wait a while before I can use the rubbing compound.

Can these products have any effect on the actual paint though if the paint has a clear coat on top of it? Thanks for not shouting at me :)

How do these things work? I know they take a layer of paint off the top and all that but how do they do that? I don't mean scientifically though. Isn't there a lacquer on top of the paint? If so how do these products manage to get to the paint? Also, people use rubbing compound to mix in old and new paint right? So how does that work? Any help would be great as I've been doing a bit of spraying (headlight panel) and feel that a bit of knowledge might help me become one with my spray cans ;) Al

Clive Owen is in many ways, or at least was, a bigger actor than Craig. But that doesn't really matter as most of the actors stepping into bonds shoes were huge stars before anyway, it was Bond that made them big. I personally don't think Bond as a huge star would work very well anyway. Regarding Craig I thought he was class, absolutely spot on and a contender for top bond. However I do wonder how long his face will look youngish as its looking a bit ropey, having said that, I may be confusing his rugged look with age.

Yeah Daniel Craig is class and makes Bond more real than the ultra smooth brosnan. And I got my limited edition silver sony erriccson k800i today with all the bond stuff. muhahaha!

yeah wd40 down locks does have a positive effect. Zed locks are crap though. They have this little piece of plastic that seems to break if you use the key too much. Good work andy. I mean Hunni
