140,000 miles on a moden engine isnt that excessive these days engines with proper care and maintainence can go on for a lot longer, modern oils preserve the engine and its components a lot better than years ago, you say the car has full service history? that tells me the car has been looked after, people dont buy a £30 odd grand car and not look after it. You can buy a 70,000 miler that has no service history never been maintained properly, and been thrashed around half its life?, chances are if it has full service history it possibly has a portfolio of whats been replaiced over the years, ask the seller if it has and if possible to look at, any car this age you pay your money you takes your chance. I would personally go for a manual on a higher mileage car as the gearboxies have a longer life span

going by memory i think you just change the seat chassis over the actual seat bolts on to it, then you only need 2 wires going to the seat for power i took the power from the fag lighter dead easy
