Hey guys I wanna change my gearbox oil to redline mt90 but before I do I wondered if anyone has any pics of where the drain & filler points are to save me some time :p

ok so is this a speed limiter i.e. should i hit it in 5th as well??

Ok, I've got a 91 manual fairladyz & 2 questions really. Firstly the spedo cuts out at 95mph & i mean completely, the needle just drops back to 0 & comes back up when i slow down but all else seems fine otherwise. i'm guessing this will be down to the black box convertor thingy but just wanted a second opinion?? Secondly, I was caning it down the a12 last weekend & seemed to hit a limiter in 4th but it was only around 4500 / 5000 rpm, I didn't think this was right as I've been past that in the lower gears. Is this normal?? If not any ideas on this?? Cheers dudes

So I've got Jap TT manuall 1991, fixed almost all the issues & am thinking about what mods to start with. I'm thinking exhaust & induction but have heard I can get serious gains from a chip instead. Just wondered hat ou guys thught / done 1st??

So 1st step mt 90 & check the syncro rings, if that doesn't work I'm looking at a refurb / new gear box. I'll see what I can do. Stevie007, how much was ur rebuild?

Hey dude's I've got that good old crunching into 4th problem. After searching it seems the recommendation is change the gearbox oil to redline mt90 BUT, how long should this fix it for? Basically if I'm gonna have to get it refurbed I might as well just do it now & roughly how much will a refurb set me back?

Hey guys, I've got a speedo problem too on my jap import, when i get to 95mph the needle drops to 0. The car still runs fine but speedo has no readings, when I drop back to 95 it comes back to life again.

So I've finally got my car into a garage after about 2 months :dance: but the bad news is i need a power steering eye pipe (so they tell me). Apparently it's the pipe that goes from the pas pump to the steering rack. Luckily I've been informed that someone I know is breaking a z but need to know if this pipe is the same on all models or if not then which fits what?? Otherwise it's an up to 3 week wait for delivery :mad:

So what is this turbo problem with the decats, that was definately on my top 10 mod list, now i'm scared. Who's had this problem, how do u sort it & what's the genral verdict on fixes??

I've seen some post from a few guys on here who've had your seat re-upholsterd. After a bit more searching it seems the kits all come from z-centre. Who are they? Where are they? & How do I get in contact with them?

Dude, I've got exactly the same prob, was also told to change gearbox oil. Ai't done it yet tho! Interested to know about the refurb too just in case

Hey guys I'm new to the whole zx thing, only had mine 2 weeks but i'm kinda screwed now cos I've started leaking hydrolic fluid & my hicas light has come on. I live in london (near croydon), & am trying to find out where's a good place to get it serviced, (don't just wanna get it fixed i want a proper check over). I went to my nearest nissan dealer they said "we don't work on 300's unless you've had them serviced here before, they're too much hassle" lol. Is it best to go to another nissan dealer or are there any speacialist places I'm better off checking out
