Just a quick one, can anybody tell me how much brake fluid I'll need to fill the systems. I'm gonna flush it this weekend & don't wanna come up short.

Easiest & Quickest way to derestrict
Ok so I found the convertor It's got a power, an earth & it sits in between a cable (green/yellow) but haven't quite managed to get the clocks out completely, I've got this far GGRRR can't get the plastic cover from the fron out from over the steering wheel to make room. Will have another go tomorrow but has anyone got or heard of the F.E.S convertor? if so do you know if it should have removed the limiter, I'm anxious to buy another but don't want to do it for no good reason.

Easiest & Quickest way to derestrict
Well I definitely have some kind of convertor in there as I'm clocking up in miles already. Looks like mine is playing up then, I'll have to find some time to take off the clocks & have a look what's behind it. Cheers Folks

Easiest & Quickest way to derestrict
So is everyone agreed this should sort me out then? http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=313 Also to save me some time where can I locate the ECU, would like to check if there's something similar already on there.

Easiest & Quickest way to derestrict
Not the engine, the engine still runs but the needle drops back to zero. When I slow down again it springs back into life, just doesn't work over 95.

Easiest & Quickest way to derestrict
Andy: Scale reads 180 but the needle cuts out when I go over 95 Crotchrocket & Steviecopland: If I get a socketed ecu, I then need a chip as well right?

Thing is it's already converted but I don't know how it's been done as I haven't checked to be honest

Easiest & Quickest way to derestrict
I have a Jap TT but it has the limiter in, I'm heading off to the nurbergring at the beggining of August so wondered if there was a quick & hopefully not too expensive way of doing this to maximise my fun?

Parts
Yeh I only just found out you guys shut down a couple days ago. I emailed you last week and was wondering why I didn't get a reply lol. I've never worked on amotoer more than fitting an induction kit, a dabble with a door lock and some wiring of stereos, amps, cigarette lighters etc. My dad's a mechaninc, has been as long as I can remember so knows what he's doing, do you reckon it's pretty straight forward? He knows cars but don't think he's ever worked on a zed so just a little weary of doing it myself.

Parts
I think I'm gonna do it myself guys cheers all the same. If anyone fancies a laugh I stopped in Nissan on the way home purely out of curiousity to see how much they'd charge, they said £450 for a B Service. I asked if that included the cambelt.... NOPE!! With the cambelt they said about £850 - £900ish lol I got them to give me the list of what's included in that it was £87.70 for spark plugs alone, I got the ngk's off smithy's site for more like £55, what are they playing at?? DTA Dan, you are the man... I salute you!!

Parts
Yeh have spoken to Dan he is defo the man for parts but have been hearing rumours of gettign the 60k service done for around £400, that sounds pretty good to me. I might go for the 120k just to be safe but if anyone can let me know what & where they paid that would be awesome, the traders sections seems to be lacking servicing traders these days (not a dig at anyone, just an observation). Cheers for the link Snowy, I'll check it out

Parts
I need a service & was wondering if you guys knew any good places to get either the service kit or just get the whole job done for me (depending on the price I might just do it myself). Also I'm gonna need a new exhaust soon so if you guys can recommend a good system or vendor I'd be very grateful.

Road Tax!
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/HowToTaxYourVehicle/DG_10012524 That's the link to pricing, anything before march 91 has a fixed rate based on engine size, anything after that is done on emissions now

can anyone explain
Where is this private track? I'm off road at the mo but come down to bristol all the time. Would be nice to take mine for a spin once it's sorted :hyper:

Limiters
That's what I thought, couldn't be a speed limit for both as after 4th tops out 5th climbs a fair bit more & I'm guessing I it would hit 112 in 4th
-
Limiters
Hey guys anyone what what limiters are on jap tt's when imported? I've got what seems to be 2 rev limits 1 in 4th & 1 in 5th dunno if this is standard or not & am guessing it's not a speed limiter as it's abou 6k in 4th & 4.5k in 5th. Is this just a black box job?

Think I'm gonna have to get the whole car resprayed cos 2 weeks before this incident some twat drove into my bumper (long story) but I have no details of the guy so have to get a new bumper & I'm guessing the paint won't quite match
