  1. Ok,did it,got the Z 3/4 in garage, jacked it up,my lad in drivers seat to hold steeing wheel straight, only small prob was some rust on spline slowing me down, would not pull off all the way, sprayed with WD and after couple minutes of it came, new one on, tighten up,drop Z,total time was a shade over 16 minutes, not bad :) Cheers guys,Tony PS,garage would of cost me over £50
  2. Cheers mate, nice one,and thanks for filter tip mtl :) ,will do it this afternoon, got work this morning :(
  3. Right then,Z failed MOT on this,is a little to much play in steering wheel, seems its the lower universal knuckle that sites between rack and steering colum, have been told its about 2 hour job by garage and they will do it,but seen as its cost a fair bit for the part i was thinkin to do my self, anyone ever done this, if so would appreciate info,is it easy/or PITA,thanks, Tony :)
  4. that M5 drifting that was on here a while back, even did search and its no-where! Tony

Nice one buddy, glad to hear it went well, though sounds like you still have distance to go,what with physio etc, many years ago i had what they called a TB Hip,was laid up in Hospital for ten weeks after the op,when time came for me to try and walk/stand was very funny, kept faling over, like i was drunk,no balance for a few days as the body forgets and the muscle's are to weak, cant wait to see ya walking un aided mate,Tony. Donna and Jamie and Sophie say get well soon too :)
  7. Just a bit of useless info maybe, but all JDM aftermarket exhaust systems have to be part of an approved group,ie Japanese Automotive Sports Muffler Association (JASMA),mine are made by OS Giken Factory Japan, some by Blitz,Endless,Pentroof and so on,unless there JASMA approved they are not allowed to sell them for road use, very tough rules out there, you can try Giken UK,see if they can import you back box's,but i would bet its well costly for them, http://www.osgiken.co.uk/ Tony :)
  8. Still no stickers or key ring

  12. I had this problem on previous Z's,,but the Anteras on this one have flush fit caps, that fooked the little buggers :D
  13. Could be up for this, just a thought, but what about here, http://www.mallorypark.co.uk/frames.asp You can see all the race track from any point around circuit, its not to technical, easy on the brakes and nice straights,a few bends would be ideal especially for those that have not done this type of thing before, and its very central and easy to get to,Silverstone is fine too but will be more costly, and i fancy a change to be honest :) Tony
