  1. Hi I think I read a tread on here about a guy who had his standard wheel chromed. Did a quick search but couldn't find anything. Does it ring any bells? Spencer
  2. Hi Was driving clockwise on the M25 at 8:30am yesterday(20/07/06), at maybe about Heathrow and you were driving in the other direction. Spencer
  3. Hi Guys I was driving around Saturday afternoon at about 2pm I think and saw a white zed infront of me. He was on the Uxbridge Road heading towards Heathrow. Sorry but I didn't get to hear it or really look at it. Spencer
  4. Yeah it was outside for two weeks, but how could it evaporate in a sealed system. Spencer
  5. Hi All I have to laugh at what has been written above. Firstly I have been told that the car handles like a pig in the wet and now we are told that the air doesn't like warm weather. When can I take her out. :headvswal Hope you all have a great weekend. Spencer
  6. Hi Guys I took my Zed for a spin last night and wasn't lloking at the temp gauge. Steam started coming from under the bonnet and when I looked at the gauge it was at the top. Pulled into Sainsburys and let her cool down then filled her up with over 5 litres of water. It all went in as I looked underneath and none was coming out. Why would the rad be empty if there is no hole. I checked it a couple of weeks ago, but have only driven it twice since. Drove home which was about 25mins drive and the gauge never moved. Do you think I have a problem and do you think that I have done any long lasting damage? Thanks Spencer
  7. Hi I saw a Red Zed as I was waiting outside Waitrose in Surbiton for a bus home the other night. I think it was Tuesday, yeah it was Tuesday. Oh yeah there is also two guys who live in Surbiton with Zed's. If you guys want to meet up some time let me know. Spencer
  8. No problem, I had a bit of stressful day at work yesterday. Spencer
  9. No doubt it is this kind of encouragement that keeps people at this site. I would love to be there when you have a mental lap one day.
  10. Hi I'm also interested in this so I thought I would bump it back to the top again. BUMP Spencer
  11. Thanks Paul, I will have a look tonight.
  12. Hi Guys Thanks for all the advise at the weekend. I filled my little green pot with fluid and the HICAS light has gone. Is there any reason why the fluid level would have dropped, apart from the obvious one that I have a leak? I had the cambelt service done recently, don't you think they would have checked it then? If so then I'm guessing I have a leak. :headvswal Spencer
  13. Hi I hope that the crash you were involved with on the M40 on Sunday about 5pm didn't do too much damage. I was the silver Zed who tooted on the way past. Hope that you and car are both fine. Spencer
  14. PAS? What does that mean. Oh and what liquid do I fill it up with. I keep loosing the back end of my car, do you think this has something to do with it?
  15. Yeah I know this is going to sound funny, but what fluid? What is the HICAS and what does it do? Spencer
  16. Hi Guys I have done a search but I can't find the thread I thought I saw recently regarding HICAS. The light HICAS has just become illuminated on my dash. Any ideas? Spencer
  17. Hi Don't know if you will get away with it or not, but I would contest it. Spencer
  18. Are you suggesting that I can get these form my Z then? Spencer
  19. Na they were bought in the UK. What do you have on? Oh and how much. Lets face it though I would rather pay a high price for a tyre rather that risk going off in the wet. Spencer
  20. :( whoops I haven't checked them since I bought it a few months ago, but it has been serviced so I'm guessing they checked it then. Maybe not though. Does anybody know the standard pressure, oh wait there I think I remember seeing a sticker on the door opening, or am I thinking of another car. Oh well I will have a look tonight. Thanks
  21. Hi All I need your help. I keep loosing the back end of my car when there is the slightest sign on moisture on the road. Yeah I know what you are thinking, ‘drive slower’ or ‘stop putting your foot down too quickly’ but trust me it’s not like that at all. I was warned before buying the car that they aren’t got in the wet, and therefore ‘I’m driving Miss Daisy’ in the rain, but surely there has to be a better tyre I can buy which will help. I currently have Avon in all four corners. Can someone recommend a good tyre – various price ranges would be appreciated. Thanks Spencer
  22. Hi You can try http://www.rac.co.uk/web/carbuying/vehicle_data_search/ It gives you a bit of detail on that car. Spencer
  23. Hi Guys I want to replace all the speaker in my Zed as the current ones are cr*p. I don't want to go OTT, but want a decent sound. What do you guys recommend. I prefer to have most of the sound from the back and only slightly from the front. Spencer
  24. Hi Legrath Thanks for the message. How do I take it apart? Spencer
