  7. So is it only some makes of BOV's that can be adapted to recirculate?
  8. Hi, I have seen from previous threads that the stock recirculating valves can be problematic and maybe not up to the job! Is it feasible to plumb in an extra recirculating valve on each side, so you would have two working each side! Mark
  9. Hello Mate, Listen for the Gurgling noise in the rear of the front wheel arch, if it is loudest there, then it is the AIV's which means absolutley nothing to worry about!!! Take the filter out of the PS reservoir to check the level as this can get blocked and give a deceptive reading!! Mark
  10. Hello Mate, Imports with Bodykits have been known to have had them fitted to conceal accident damage. The approxiamate year of manufacture is on the label at the bottom of the seat belt! Good Luck Mark

Out of interest! Why does Luke say 245's all round Most people on here put wider tyres on the rear, because of the power you put down on the road and the arse liking to hang out!!!!! Mark

Hello Mate, Do a search on the old forum that should bring you up loads of information and sources! Mark
  13. Hi Danny, I have seen the Conzult used to diagnose a fault on my car and I was extremely impressed! Personally I think a person you would benefit from 'conzulting' (was that corny?) is Darren in kent! He works 90% of the time on Z's, he was UK Nissan's mechanic of the year two years running and then Fifth in the european finals! He has used the 'original' diagnostic system for many years and could probably give you many pointers for improving your current model! All the best, Mark
  14. Paul, Just cos you have seen mine in bits, doesn't mean you can do the same!:D Roy, I have heard the trick is to rip the PCV hoses off, they like a bit of rough:o Your Honour! LOL Mark
  15. Hows the hand Macca? You did do it fighting, didn't you?:D http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/tv/obsessions/gallery_case1.shtml

Hello Mate, I don't know what garages you have been to or what problems you have with it, but you maybe want to drag it over to Darren in kent. A long trek but well worth, he is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met regarding Z's, he won Nissans Uk mechanic of the year two years running and nearly won the european comp as well. Failing that try and get someone with a ConZult analyser! He is also extremely reasonable! I have a 200 and a Z and I like the 200 its a great car, but every time I get in a Z, it brings a smile to my FACE:D Good Luck Mate, Mark
  17. Yeah I have done one on a TT passenger side, no Problems! Now I get to do one on a NA drivers side and I can't even get my hands down there? I bought an O2 sensor removal tool and it is too long and inteferes with the pipework, surrounding the O2 sensors! I ended up buying a 22 mm crows foot spanner and that works a treat! Mark
  18. Hi Jeff, I have got to agree with Fat Tony, does look pretty good. Am I right in thinking that it is designed to be integrated with the OEM spoiler, or can it be used on its own say with a NA rear? Also is that the Luke OEM Fibreglas copy you have on the rear?????? Mark
  19. Hi Aaron, My greatest fear is getting my arm stuck down there, then when people trap their limbs they swell up, then I have to ring my colleagues up to get me out! Better do it before we go on strike again! I think with the plenum removed it does make a difference, as a pipe I was considering removing to improve space was attached to the plenum! I think my only option is to Jack it up, as I have no turbos to get in the way! Mark
  20. Hi, Replacing an O2 sensor on the NA and took out the Driver side O2 sensor no problem, can I put in the new one, Can I ****! Can't seem to get my salami style fingers into the space Does anyone know of a way of putting them in, or do I have to jack the car up and do it from underneath! Alternatively can anybody lend me their small child for mechanical apprenticeship! Mark
  21. Clarkey, It can be done with a ball joint remover! Mark
  22. Bruce, 'There are lots of girls over here looking for a nice guy, you should come over.' You are leaving me wide open on this forum for a whole range of abuse with a comment like that!!!!!!! LOL Mark
  23. Hi Bruce, Hows it going? Hope you are nearer to getting your Z/350Z?????????? All the best, Mark
  24. Hi Paul, There are a couple of internet tyre sources, I think another one is tyres on line, the autotrader website has a few links as well! Has been since you got the new chip????? LOL http://www.tyres-sold-online.co.uk All the best Mark
  25. Hi Gio, The same thing happened to me, eventually Darren after bleeding the system and that not working, changed the Slave cylinder (£30 I have a local Jap spares distributor near me) and no problem! I think he charged me 20-30 for changing it! Mark
