  1. Hello Matey, Made up for ya! Are they custom made springs or a specific make? Mark
  2. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an answer yet to the Catch Tank/PCV situation!! Every solution so far has drawbacks, including the Stillen one! I believe Ashz on TT.net said he is working on a solution he believes will overcome all the negative sides of the others! Do a search on TT, they call them catch cans!
  3. http://home.hawaii.rr.com/twinturboz/catchtank.htm Are you sure you want to take advice from an Amercian site!!!!LOL Seriously speaking there have been problems, reported with catch tanks and how they interfere with PCV system! See if Latz can knock up something? Mark
  4. Sounds like Macca's got enough cranky amperage already!!!!!!!!:D
  5. What is the model and make of the right battery for the Zed! Which one fits, has the terminals around the right way and has enough power! No NGK or Irridium ones please!!!
  6. I think I finally have to agree we are argueing about shades of grey!!! The thing is with all the polishing and porting work done on my heads, the Irridium plugs will reach pretty far into my Z's chamber, so I could start using them! They are great in my S13!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The thing is when you have hooked a big fish like Macca, you just gotta keep on winding!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D LOL Mark
  7. Ouch you bitch!!!!
  8. The voice of reason from Andy Duff!!!!!!! What is going on:D
  9. NO, The whole purpose of these threads for me is so that people can have a look at the different ideas around and make up their own mind! It's not top secret, you can tell us why do Irridiums work then? Mark:D
  10. The theory is small particles get lodged in the matrix causing it to block and then you get pressure build up and then it goes, if the electrical leak shortage doesn't get it first?
  11. I believe that is for all the bushes in the suspension!
  12. Hi Gio, There is a company called real steel near you! The do the complete Suspension techniques bush kit for the z for £170ish, the aggro is fitting it! Frank de ruiter does the camber adjustment pack for about £30ish! Mark
  13. Then contribute to the debate with a reason why you think one is better than the other!:D
  14. Cheers gents! I thought it was a wild shot!!!!
  15. I was talking to a boffin at kenlowe fans and was asking him a few questions! I asked him about replacements for the Z fan!! He said the problem with mechanical fans is that they do not move enough air at tickover, a big consideration for me living in London! Also above a certain speed the flow of air through the rad is impeded by the mechanical fan! So basically we have a small range of speeds where the mechanical fan is of some use! Has anyone fitted Electric fans to their TT Z and have an aftermarket temp gauge, have you noticed any increase in temperature?
  16. A man went to the Doctors he said had ear ache the quack said pour in peanut oil he can now hear a Treat!

Threshers own brand ORIGIN aus cabernet sauvignon, best bottle of wine for a fiver I have ever tasted!
  22. It is easier to take off the fan, there are a 4 or 5 nuts attaching the fan to the pulley, take em off but don't disturb the pulley! After the engine rebuild I have had a look at the mounts that these hoses attach to on the block. They corrode severly and it would be worth taking those off and cleaning or replacing them, if you were concerned about doing a proper job! Dazza the Z demi god, says he has seen a couple corrode right through!
  23. The PLOT thickens, sit back and watch the Fireworks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. It is still worth getting JeffTT to check it over, if you buy a minga it will be a lot more hassle than it is worth and Jeff may know of a good one for sale! I presume you are youngish by your forum name, have you got money to burn on Insurance for a year, when you are only going to keep the car for 6 months!
  25. Hello Mate, Have you bought it because if you haven't, I would hold back until you have it checked out properly! I don't want to cast woe on your first Z but the problems you mentioned could be very serious and costly to rectify! JeffTT is in your area and I believe he does inspections, it would be prudent to get him to do a quick inspection on the car before you buy it! Mark
