Your vote is required for new a National Events organiser and Membership Sec !
From here I will hand this over to the candidates, Herman Munster for Membership Secretary, Kirbz for National Events Organiser, and Jock for both, if they want to say something about why they should do these jobs. Their candidacy was discussed in this thread. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=33202

soft top 300zed
OOiiii you lot are tempting me towards using my mod powers for personal vengance :D I must admit the brown colour is awful! There were only two thousand RHD convertibles made, so I think they are worth a bit more!

best bits for the car
I told you which brakes! The type of car is limited by how much driveability you want and the budget! Give us those and we will give you the spec but it has probably been answered a hundred times before!

Important announcement regarding club voting!!
I thought we were also getting a membership coordination type person - did I not read that somewhere - I don't think the treasurer should have to do that as well as she currently does! Yes we are, that is being organised as we talk if you have a look in club announcements, the post is in there.

Important announcement regarding club voting!!
Not disagreeing with you here Dave, just putting some info up! Craig had trouble finding people to take the forum on, so in reality we couldn't have elections to start with! We had to introduce an annual charge otherwise the club would not exist in it's current form and would be relegated to a less up to date scenario! We appointed more people because the club has been a success and some of the roles are important and require confidentiality, and as you can see from my recent posts for help we don't have volunteers knocking the door down, and we need those people as the current workload caused by the growth in membership has meant expansion. A lot of people had paid Craig £20 and they felt it unfair that other people could use the forum without paying. We are asking you now to express your thoughts as a club and we will follow those wishes, yes to carry on as we are or no to change! Personally myself I would like the continuity to finish off a couple of areas that I want to polish and say to whoever wants my role in the future here is a well run club, look after it!

Important announcement regarding club voting!!
Hi All, We have progressed through our first year of becoming a club and so we are approaching the membership to see what you want to do? In this first year we have done most of the hard work and assembled the chassis, mechanics and bodywork together, so that we have an up and running club. We now have the fine tuning to do and the fun part, driving it! Basically the committee are approaching the members, to ask are you happy with the committee as a whole and would like to see them carry on managing the club for the next 12 months? Or do you want voting to take place for each committee member? This poll will close in 30 days and this poll is confidential only two or three technical administrators can see who voted for what?

Engine rebuild - how much ?
For parts alone yes, to get to the 500 region! If you have to add labour then no!
-
Engine rebuild - how much ?
To take 500bhp plus you only have to replace the pistons with forged and even that is debatable, everything else on the engine is capable of holding that sort of power!

Engine rebuild - how much ?
If it's guaranteed for twelve months, that ain't a bad price, to rebuild the engine properly would probably cost the best part of a grand in new parts and preparing the block, heads etc! But at least you know it's done properly then! But Markyb300, Martyn would do an excellent job at an excellent price! It might be worth getting the crank and rods cryogenically treated, cheap and meant to make them 25% stronger!

-
Engine rebuild - how much ?
Marky Unless your engine is completely trashed, the only reasonable upgrade is a set of forged pistons, the rest of the lump should be able to deal with 500bhp plus easily!

Hi Tack, Sorry I meant to reply to your pm we have split the south into basically south east and south west, for which we now have reps, I am not sure if adding another area might confuse the issue slightly?
