Hi.. What J wheels & what size tyres are fitted Buddy? Any spacers required? Is it these wheels?? . http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=89211 . I have a set of aftermarket 8J 16's fitted to my zed with 1 month old 225/50/16 Avon ZZ3 tyres all round in new condition (tyres cost £350 last month).. The wheels are in good used condition, no curbing. The centre caps have a couple small splits from being removed/re-fitted (plastic).. Decent looking wheels, will clean up nicely, but only 16".. Pics in 'My Rides' - Link below in my signature.. More pics available.. I am currently looking for a larger set of wheels.. Ideally wanted 18's, but would be interested in a deal for your 17" wheels as a stop gap, if they are in good condition (no curbing/buckling etc.).. I value my wheels at £275 with tyres. We were only talking recently about my divorce, and you were telling me how I would find happineness again (and you are right!!).. But please believe me, there is another life after a long relationship.. I had a black 1998 Barchetta last year.. It was a fantastic little car, and the easiest left hand drive car I have ever driven.. Never had any problems with it, all I felt the need to do was fit a nice set of 16's.. More style than an MX5, although they are great little cars too. When it came to selling it, it went in 2 days.. I had people fighting over it :) I wouldn't hesitate in buying another.

I'm looking at a set of 18" alloys for the zed, they come with an offset of ET42 .. Is it just a case of having to fit 7mm spacers all round to make up the offset to ET35,, or is it a bit more complicated than that?? Yep.. 315/30/18's and they were fine, the 335's were a bit oversized to be honest. Don't forget to have all 4 balanced, and 4 wheel steering laser wheel alignment done (if your zed has Hicas)..

The 315's were part worns, so only £200 the pair fitted.. New 315's are in the region of £275 each for something like Pirelli PZero's.. New 335's were approx. £350 each.

I am on the point of ordering a set of these, but need to clear the spacer issue up, as I am ordering a set of spacers with the wheels.. Are you running bigger brakes Buddy? or are these spacers the absolute minimum required to get them to fit standard brakes? I was hoping to have to just fit 6-7mm spacers all round to make up the offset difference :confused: Any help appreciated.

I had 12" wide rears on my Strosek.. I removed the 335's when they were worn out, and put 315's on which fit perfectly :) ... Little bit cheaper, and easier to get hold of!!

Last wheel for me Buddy.. I had a set of Image wheels on an F40 Replica I had last year, they are very nice wheels, and good quality.
