Get a whole rear subrame and hubs, clean, shotblast repaint and rebush. New wheel brgs, get rid of hicas if you want to, drop the tank and stonechip and paint the underneath, check out your brake lines and handbrake cable, all the sort of stuff you need to get it off the ground for do it all in one go. If you plan on dropping the suspension then get all your arms and coilovers ready to do in one go. That way you know that it will last another 15 years without worrying.

Mine had 19s on and looked like a 4x4 so could have done with dropping, but the arches would have needed to be rolled

The Duff man knows his stuff mate so go with his direction for a first to keep the car moveing. As and when you want to change the rear bushes I would recommend getting some replacement parts ready to fit when you do drop the subframe as changing the bushes can take twice as long as the rest of the work. You can also plan to underseal it at the same time and do lots of the little jobs around the back end all in one go.

They have some realy good cars but they are not quite right in the looks department, they can be stunning from front but damn fugly at te back end.

I have had 3, yes 3 cav coupes all with the 1.9s engine in, and Boldy you are right so much better than the Capri they went round corners like nothing else. I'm back in an Omega now and lovin it.

This is just one of those times when people get fed up with being told what to think, what to do and when to do it. Hippies are the only people who are able to protest in such a way because they don't have jobs to go to and don't have the restraints of everyday life to deal with. I am in agreement with those who are commenting about the powers at be controling a peaceful protest, and I wouldn't even call it a protest but rather making their voice heard, after all how many pertitians have been ignored. As for making them work, well alot of them don't claim benifits, not as many as pikies and teenage pregnant chavettes, they drop out of society because they don't like the way it is run and all power to those that do. If anyone is concerned about security well, send in the army and put the copper back on the streets.
