The guitar is a musical instrument : If you can`t play an acoustic , no amount of effects will make you sound better . Learn the rudiments of the guitar first . Well , I got a Series 2 PTU from the States and faffed aound fitting it yesterday ( That`s to say , I dropped the first screw I tried to fit , fitted the top two and dropped the last screw . Actually , by then I didn`t care : It`s light enough to be tight enough with two :p ) Anyway , I drove it in heavy traffic today , stopped to shop at Tesco , where the problem usually manifests itself , and , f*ck my luck , it did the same old thing : Kept cutting out because it had reached operating temp . I`m a bit p*ssed off after all that , to be honest :headvswal Time and money wasted .

Are there any problems with removing any of these pipes ? Like liquids pouring out , or air leaks being caused ? I managed to remove only the two top bolts with the pipes/hoses in place ? I was in a street , then bad light stopped play anyway . I`m stuck ! Help required and appreciated , lads .

I`ve ordered a new PTU from the USA . Two quick questions about fitting : Do I need to disconnect the battery ? ( see my "Alarmed" post ! ) Will I have to disconnect the turbo hose ? Thank you kindly :) Brian

If I disconnect my battery ( neg-) for any reason and then reconnect it , my alarm/immobiliser goes berserk . It goes through its whole repertoire of noises , whistles , beeps , sirens and God knows what else until it has alerted the people of at least three counties . Meanwhile , I`m trying to stop the damn thing from my hiding place in the nearest bush ! It`s a Concept 300 . Does anybody know how to avoid this humiliating pantomime ? :D Cheers Brian
