Glad to hear it's going well mate. How are you doing for grip - did you ever get traction control?
  11. Best of luck - if you've done a script, bin it. The best ones are the "off the cuff speeches". How about some of us contribute some jokes for you - don't look in my direction, I don't know any! Hey MAC, this time in 3 weeks, I'll have been married - thaks for cheering me up m8!
  12. I had worn HICAS arms and the back of the car was "all over the place" on corners or going over bumps.
  13. Basically, my Z was an embarrasment. It hadn't been washed for almost 12 months, the paintwork had turned a dull pink colour. Also the back end wobbled like mad going around corners and going over bumps. It didn't go well, it didn't stop either! So I visted ex-forum member "PhilZ" at CS Wood (a place known to many North West Z owners). He put new rear discs on the rear, new pads all round, a new caliper on the front, fitted braided brake hoses all round and bled the entire system and refilled with DOT5.1. He also bled my clutch, replaced the rear HICAS arms, fixed a vacuum leak and a boost leak. A full service and MOT were also done. But for me the best part was that he buffed the entire car, it now just looks like it did when it first emerged from the PPS paint shop a couple of years back. He also painted my wiper arms and replaced my long-time cracked drivers door mirror. The fact that he managed to do all this in the space of just under two days is nothing short of a miracle. This unashamed "plug" for Phil is just a way of saying "THANKS!" - I'm no longer embarrased, or feel in danger of having a bad accident due to a neglected car. This has re-awakened my enthusiasm for my Z (and this community) and I'll my best not to let it slip again :headvswal
  14. OMG - Johnny is still around
  15. Hi folks, long time no see! Just thought I'd let you know that I'm getting married on 02/09/05 - exactly 10 years to the day since I met Lisa, my bride-to-be. I don't like to rush into these things  Dave

  20. My first car was a 1987 Toyota Supra 3.0i in black, followed by a 1990 Toyota Supra 3.0i turbo. I must have a thing about 3.0 Jap cars :hyper:
  21. As bad as Labour are, it's a shame there are no decent alternatives to vote for :headvswal
