Back from CS Wood with new gauges/dash/clutch
My Z is back on the road at last :hyper: Phil put a new RPS clutch in after my old RPS Max had lost 5 springs from the clutch cover and also fitted a braided clutch hose and uprated pivot pin. He also fitted some bits that have been lying around for the past 2/3 years  They were the carbon instrument surround from Jaylox and the chrome gauge rings from DTA:- Also, I had a couple of Autometer gauges and a twin A-pillar pod lying around, along with carbon trim for the pod:- The gauges themselves have carbon faces, but the weave doesn't really show up in the pic. :( I'm made up :nana2:

Taken away for new clutch
The AA sent a low-loader today, to take my zed off to CS Wood to have a new clutch fitted. While it's there Phil is going to fit my A-pillar pod and gauges, plus the carbon dash trim and speedo rings that I have had lying around for the past 3 years!! Appartently, 5 of the springs on my old RPS Max clutch had snapped off - no wonder I couldn't get it into any gear  Hopefully, I should have it back by the weekend :hyper:

Clutch lifespan
My RPS clutch arrived yesterday :hyper: (cheers Smithy!) - this is now the third clutch I've had to buy for my zed. So as far as I know, the stock clutch lasted around 6 years from new - unless the previous owner had already replaced it within 4 years (up to the point I bought the car). I replaced this with an ACT 'street clutch', which lasted around 3 years. I replaced this with an RPS 'Max' which has lasted 2 years. Now, have to replace this with another RPS clutch. I'm not a particularly aggressive driver, most of my journeys are short trips around town and I do around 9,000 miles per year. Does anyone else go through clutches this often, or am I just unlucky
