Black Z spotted - junction of A570/A580
I was waiting to turn right, towards St.Helens, at about 13:45. Saw a black 'G' plate Z heading out of St.Helens towards the Rainford By-Pass. Anyone here? (Mike Duffy?) I'll just sit back and wait for the usual "it wasn't me" replies :D:D:D Dave

Stock or Modified part2
Don't you remember typing this? I paid just under the going rate for the JWT ECU; due to a group buy organised by Nico (one of the forum founders) - for himself, PaulG Simon Pass and myself. You can pay a tenner for a 'knock-off' ECU but I bought mine from JWT, this fee included costs for his development of this technology, apart from the cost of a mapped EPROM. Many high BHP cars in the US (twinturbo.net members) possess this ECU. Yes :D The 300ZX was designed by fat-arsed Americans, for fat-arsed Americans :D. This ride 'quality' was not to my taste I agree - some of the more expensive Japanese systems (eg Blitz/HKS ets) are mild steel with stainless mufflers. The Mongoose is of full stainless construction, and is therefore rust-proof. The car was resrayed by Peter Hunter at PPS (aka LEONARDO - http://www.modifiedatpps.co.uk) He is widely recognised as one of the best bodykit fitters/car painters in the country. He has prepared many showcars for magazines and has many satisfied 300ZX customers on this forum; including MAC1, ChrisC, 300Z, SMW1, martinfa, topless- he has completed paint/kit jobs of almost 20 zeds.

Stock or Modified part2
Hood- don't take the ****ing piss out of my ****ing car. I am more than happy with the way it is now, if you want to stay stock, then that is fine by me, it is your car and stock zeds look nice. However, that does not grant you the licence to take a "holier than thou" attitude and slag off anyone who has the "audacity" to modify their car.

Stock or Modified part2

Dozy Dave
Was hoping to get my new Blitz 03's fitted today :D Finished work early, when I got home I asked the tyre centre if my tyres had arrived - they hadn't. So I thought I'd occupy myself by fitting my front strut brace in the meantime. Anyway, the tyre centre rang to say if I came down in the next few mins, they would fit my wheels. In my haste I left my toolkit on the driveway at home and raced (literally :D) to the tyre centre. When I arrived at the tyre centre, I opened the hatch to get my locking wheel nut key from the toolkit I keep in the back. I then remembered, I left this toolkit at home - the tyre centre was closing in 10 mins :( So I didn't have time to go back for it  I can't believe I forgot this, so I will have to go again tomorrow morning to get the wheels fitted  Anyway, here's my sexy news rims clothed in fat rubber :p Oh, and thanks to SRRAE for tightening my strut-brace nuts. Who invented 'allen keys' anyway  Dave

Try Johnny at http://www.grasshopperprosport.co.uk He can get Blitz lowering springs, they aren't too extreme - so you don't have to worry about speed bumps (much!) Dave
