I am but im not sure what brand as it was all fitted before i purchased the zed, and a thermostatic fan controller which has just broke:( ........so im looking into getting something a bit more accurate and reliable, but other than that it worked well, if the temp creeped up the fan would switch on and i could watch the temp gauge fall slowly

I've got one of these fitted to my AMS rad

With something like this with a temp sender to control the fan.

I've also fitted an after market temp guage, as you will know the standard one is crap, and was thinking of fitting a manual overide in the cab for safety.I've not got it up and running yet but with my vented bonnet i think it should be fine.

Rubble I am a little unsure whether you mean it is installed or not?

im running a 16" zirgo fan and koyo rad, takes a while to get up to 85c-90c, then as soon as the fan kicks in plumits to 75c-80c switches off the slowly rises again. supurb fan, slim and really quiet:D

Yours don't count it ain't got a thermostat in yet:tongue:

Been runing a Kenlowe electronic fan with the standard rad for over 4 years now and lots of extra boost! Now problems here ;)

Dont know if yours is the same but i found my copper temp probe jammed down the side of a rad hose:shock: and was making the car slowley leak coolant

No dude, I installed the probe facing towards the engine and i'm using samco silcone rad hoses so touch wood, no leaks and i've never had to top the thing up once! I still change the coolant once a year tho..

Sorry one other proviso, you are running an aftermarket temp gauge as the stock one is useless, out of interest radron some people have had trouble with the zed centre one!

Yeah not up and running yet.Probably no use to you at all :x: :slap::rofl:

i found the zcentre fan kit worked fine when i had stock turbos but, it just couldnt keep the temp down with bigger jobbies. im pretty sure its only flowing 2000 to 2500cfm which is ideal for an N/A or stock TT
