Hey all, how do you reset the ECU after doing a diagnostic? (ie. so the previous error code(s) are forgotten?)

alternatively, if you can get access to a conzult or datascan im sure they can do what your after...

 

though im also fairly sure if you leave the battery disconnected for a certain period of time this also clears the memory?

True - 30~60 minutes will do the trick although this doesn't clear the self-learn parameters which can only be reset by using a ConZult, etc.

I thought if you disconnect the batt for 6 hours it would reset the learn?

It'd probably take less petrol to torch it, than it would to drive it for a bit :-) Haha, but still that doesn't bother me, love it, haha........
