Police car reversed into me marked the front bumper, they said that, as i was behind him, it was my fault ,out comes the bloke behind me and said he saw the police car reverse into me and that they were in the wrong after a bit of a disagrement the bloke behind said he was a barrister and he will be a witness for me the police man said as there was only a small amount of marking he will pay for a car wash then the barrister said you should not of said that as they are now trying to get away with bribery so bassicly the police man is in the sh11t :hyper:

if ur car was stationary and he reversed in to you i cant see how he could have any grounds to even attempt to shift the blame

just make sure you say your handbrake was applied

and was in neutral, which im sure it was

Tell your local paper, theres an asda near me and a police car parked in a disabled parking bay and went shopping. Anyway someone took a picture and took it to our local paper it was on the front page dont know the outcome yet. There not above the law but some are taking advantage

Sean, you need to call me re this, Was he in a police car at the time? if so he should have called it in as a POLAC, police accident, basically either traffic officers will attend or at least a higher ranking officer. Just to cover himself and you. if you were not hurt in this then dont go down the line of an injury claim, as it will cause all manner of poo your way.........

i had a copper drive into the back of me 2 weeks ago when i was parked up waiting for the kids....he made a right hash of getting into the parking bay behind me...and as he pulled forward ...crunch...i got out laughing...he was very red faced and apologetic...i said you'll be lucky to do any damage to me bud with your panda wagon as i got a high level tow ball and pin hitch...i was driving the wifes land rover disco at the time :D

brass neck !! take his number and report him its coppers like him that give the rest of decent policemen and women a bad name ....i was stopped for doing 94 in a 60 i know i was stupid , stuck behind a tractor for 15 miles and first bit of dual carrigeway blah de blah ...anyway ..when pulled over by the bobby i obvioulsy didnt see and after admitting i was a muppet it was only a 60 pound fine and 3 points ..could have been a prosecution at that speed !! ..he was at least fair and used his common sense as the road was clear and the weather fine etc ...he could have been an arse about it but wasnt ...
