I think he might be one of those saddos that leaves his running and gets 'respek' from his m8s as it auto-shuts off. He may had fake dump-valves too.. :wack:

I wouldn't even bother with one on a turbo car. Far better to drive the thing off-boost for the last 5 minutes of your journey rather then let it sit there idling for ages.

Ihave one fitted to mine but not shure it is working right I have it set for 2 min. which it will run for if I am on a long run but on a short run it will go of in 5 sec.

Iam shure it must run for the time you set it at but it is tempermental, still if it cools the turbos iam glad its fitted

The best way to let the turbos cool down is to drive off-boost for the last 5mis of your journey. Much more efficient way of cooling AND better for the car.

what make is it? you might find it has an auto setting. when i had my apexi timer you could set it to run for a pre determind time or set it to auto according to how hard the car was run

Mine starts at 10 seconds and goes upto anything aslong as 5 mins depending on your journey.

So if i start and then stop the car it'll only go for 10 seconds, whereas if i rag it down the motorway and then stop it'll run for 5 mins. And anywhere inbetween depending on the driving i have done.

I tend to just switch mine off and on if its at about 5 mins, cos i don't wanna leave it running for that long, LOL.

i have the blitz fatt dc ..it works the same depending on what setting u have it on, on the auto setting it uses inpulses from the engine to work out how hard and how long its been driven and then works out a time from there, or u can set it to manual n pick how long u want it to run for also. its a cleaver little thing n worth the money

thats a good price for a series 4 slicktop !

I think quite cheap also and it looks tidy. nice seats too.
