Bl**dy things are getting right up my nose (which can be uncomfortable )

Are there any problems if I take the damned things off completely, and don't replace them ?

no aftermarket pipes dont have them and they dont cause any problems.

got rid of all my sheilding except for the starter motor and fuel line shields. as long as you dont have any wiring hovering near by, you shouldnt have any probs. exhaust wrap is a good substitute if you can get to the pipes ;)

He's right you know ;) And anyway they are really knackered - not sure if I can get any replacements either as it's a SWB ?

Thanks for that Silver :)

ive had mine off for about 18 months with no ill effects mate

Depends which ones you mean. The ones that are wrapped around the elbows, downpipes..etc I see no problem with removing them

The one bolted to the chassis that shields the prop bearing from the cats though could cause premature prop bearing failure if removed.

Yep, not the cat shields, it's the ones that are forward of that. Rattle like buggery even though I tried to clamp em up tight.

Thanks guys :)
