Hello.

Was just wondering what you guys think it should cost for a front bumper to get sprayed and fitted? Was quoted 300 today which i thought was pritty expensive. I then asked how much for a spoiler sprayed and fitted and was told about the same, which again i felt was quite expensive.lol. Any thoughts on this guys?

most decent painters up this way are charging about £200 a panel. your better to get a few quotes and also check on the quality of their work ask to see something theyv'e just done.

I charge 180-200 for a straight re-paint on a stonechipped bumper for example.Too far away from you to offer you a deal though..lol

i paid about 120 for my boot to be sprayed.

paint is expensive man!

fit it yourself, save a bit?

Do as much of the prep work yourself, filling sanding. Fit the bumper make sure its right then take it back off and send it off for paint!

If its an original or 99spec then I would of said about £200. if its a Fibreglass aftermarket bumper then double that for all the labour in trying to get it to fit, unless you do as ed says and do all the fitting labour yourself before taking it to them.

If its an aftermarket bumper thats a different ball game,I thought it was just a factory repaint. With fibreglass it all depends how good the fit is...can be time consuming to get right...if it is fibre glass then 300 might end up being reasonable.
