...do you have any issues with water getting into the engine bay? have you performed any modifications under-bonnet to divert water away from any nearby electrics such as coilpacks, temp sensors, etc.

is that the Z centre type 1 you have there mate? looks sweet. thats the one I have sat around in the spare room. only recently thought about water in the engine bay!

Not on a zed,but on plenty other cars!Soggy air filters and that kind of thing,all depends where the vent is and how big it is i guess?That mitsi EVO bonnet vent with mesh was a killer lol!

ive had this vented headlight panel on for 3 years and its not been too bad - scares the jeepers out of you when its wet and cuts out at 4000rpm! i can put up with that, dont really fancy belting the car on a wet road anyway!

the vent will be a thin slit cut about 1/3 of the way up the bonnet in the centre and will be meshed and covered like the one in Vijay's rides

Same vent as you dave and it leaks water all over the pulleys and belts. Nightmare in the later months of the year, all sorts of crap made the belts slip
