    I'm a self employed computer consultant - so no chance of redundancy. The markets are bad at the moment, so not sure where my next job will come from.

     

    Luckily - I have enough saved to be out of work for a few months - but time to tighten my belt.

    Military Steve. Big investment from the government in that sector before the economic downturn. I am sure there are IT civi jobs there?

    Cheers Nick - I know things will be fine - I was just highlighting the fact that people are losing their jobs - I know had we not been in recession - the company am working at would have retained me.
