I've converted one of the reverse lights :) Whack a red bulb in with some extra wires and jobs a good un :D

Thats what i meant bud ;) Its not 4 lights BTW, its only 2, just looks like 4 :) If you look at the back you'll see there is only 2 bulbs.

found some neat little lights that can be used as fog light on ebay, i motorcycle parts under led brake lights,about 70mm long by 12mm thick they can be bolted under rear lip of bumper and dont stick out like a sore thumb. and yes they will pass mot as long as they are fitted to o/s of car.

hate the big towing fog lights :rant:

 

i too have a red bulb in my reverse light, with a manual switch onit.

 

my other reverse light doesnt work tho (common problem)

 

luckily you dont need reverse light for MOT :)

i had this prob too last year, wired into off side reverse light and change bulb to a red one, cost about 40 quid. was wired into brake light on spoiler and failed MOT like that.

So long as it is mounted on the O/S of the vehicle the only requirements are that the bulb be a minimum of 21W (or equivalent there of if using LED) and if using a separate switch inside the cabin it MUST light up when the fog light is in operation.
