Good luck with it Dan and dont get disheartened if it doesnt run like a peach straight away.You may have a few bad connections that will need checking and cleaning.Just work your way through and if it floods it will be a pig to restart.Pull the plugs out for ten minutes and dry them.

that engine looks very nice in them colours are you going tobe doing a start up video???

we got murky oil which stinks of petrol! only bin running for about 2 mins on and off not even warmed it up and no spark at coilpack 2 and code 34 with resistor!

got her running nearly there just got some timing issues! cant seem to set the timing correctly at 15degrees idle it is way out!:headvswal

850-900rpm was showing around 28degrees!

make sure engine is fully warmed up (coolant >70C), before checking/setting timing.

also if the car has been converted from auto to manual the timing will be "fixed" to 25 BTDC at idle unless you connected the Neutral switch of the gearbox to the ECU.

its an auto & was in Netral when checked & warmed up >70

 

think i'm one tooth out on the bottom pully :( belt off again!!!!!!
