Put the mines ecu in my 95tt this afternoon. One thing I immediately noticed is that it takes longer to start the engine. I have to hold the key for twice as long before it fires up.

Is this expected/known about?

I can't imagine it being to do with the ecu relearning?

i would say this is a good thing. my 300 starts on the first turn, like many other 300's.

after speaking to jeff at "zedworld", he told me that you always get a little, and i mean LITTLE, knock form the engine at start up, because 300's start up very quickly and get no time while turning over, to circulate the oil through the engine.

keep the ecu.

only my opinion,

al.

The ecu is for an auto - like all Mines ECU`s ;)

Any auto ecu works fine in a manual but not the other way round :P

I don't get back till the start of the 2nd week in December, as for price I will need to have a dig around to see if I can find out how much I paid for it, I`ll get back to you on the price

P.S. or you could make me an offer ;)

ah I was sure I had read somewhere that they only did Auto ECU`s that way they could be fitted to either manuals or autos - but maybe thats just too sensible an idea

This one is deffo for an auto but it works in my manual I fitted it just after I bought it but removed it as I have decided to follow a different go faster route ;)
