Ive changed the oil and filter a few days ago also put an additive in with the oil which claimed extra power and better mpg.

No improvment on power but iam getting more mpg.

On £20 of petrol i usually get 40-50 miles depending on the way i drive, but after the oil change iam getting over 60 miles to £20 of petrol.

I know petrol has come down a bit but iam still getting mpg well chuffed.

Do the gear box and diff next, I bet you will notice even more of a difference I certainly did:nana2:

To correctly compare MPG before and after, judge it by the actual quantity of fuel used and not the cost of it mate........

........Fill the tank to the brim, reset the trip clock, drive until the light comes on, then re-fill it. Divide the quantity (litres) that goes back into the tank by 4.56 to obtain the number of gallons used; then divide the miles on the trip clock by the gallons figure for your average MPG:p

Cost is always varaible but quantity is not;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
