its actually really easy, but the pass door panal on early zeds is a right bugger to remove.

And the cloth itself actually peals off the foam backing so even easier

Well it does'nt seem that way to me :( LOL. Nevermind i might have more luck this time round :D

The backs are harder. More curves and contours. You have to do it bit-by-bit so the glue doesnt lift.

Well i went wrong it 2 ways then, lol. 1) I started with a hard bit and 2) i did'nt do it bit by bit cos i'm an impatient beggar, lol.

Note to self, start off with a nice small flat peice :D

Why do you think I gave mine to a trim shop!? LOL I had to get my leather skin made up in panels as leather doesn't really have much 'give'. Even the trimmers said the Z32 is quite hard to trim if you're stitching everything on.

I'm tighter than a ducks arse tho Si :D

I'll get there.............i hope, lol :D

it is possible to do it yourself mate, when I did mine, I used evostik impact adhesive, a wallpaper seam roller, and a big strong dad. Worked a treat

I found the rear easier than the door cards as the doors have sharper bends which are a PITA. My biggest issue was the glue, didn't seem to matter where I used it I got high as a fooking kite.

You can easily DIY for £100, that would include about 3 tins of glue, staple gun, 3 sq m of vinyl and a good pair of scissors. A hairdryer is useful too.

You don't need edge finising on the joins if you do it properly.

It's just another option for a different finish however it can be useful to hide the little errors.

said the guy who paid somebody to do it for him.

Oh and some two core electrical wire for edge finishing.

The retrimmer i used used used some sort of plastic crap to do the edging on mine and its allready started to look like sh1t.
