Im getting squeeling and a catching noise when using my brakes hard, always comes from the front right wheel.

Its a series 1 import so im guessing it has alloy calipers, so im guessing its probably the disks warping.

(when off the brakes long enough to cool down the noise dissapears)

My question is...

Will a caliper seal kit help fix this or should i just get iron calipers/new disks?

If so how much would i be looking at?

Thanks

Pete

Calipers warping? You'd have to drop them into a forge to get them to do that. The disks may be warped though.

Noise though probably sounds like the above, a seized piston in one of the calipers, dirt in the pads.

get some R33/34 gtr Brembo's from a skyline,,

...

would'nt you normally get a judder through the steering wheel when braking at speed if disks are warped ?

remember this on a old bmw i had once

just a thought :D

Would evo 1's Fit?

yes they do...

Brembo Calipers as fitted to a Mitsibushi Evo 6/7/8

Pads with a fair amount of life left on them

340mm belled discs in Very good condition, just a bit of surface rust.

Adapters to fit Z32/R32 inc all bolts etc

..

NO nO nO ...you can get R33's front's for only £400 +/-

...

You have miss-matched calipers then. I'd rather go the complete upgrade and do the rears too. You'll be keeping the brake force in perspective as well as the look.
