Back to normal at last, I can now gun it again after recent weeks of pussyfoot driving as the clutch which was only about 5 months old and 3000 miles was slipping. Another disappointing buy from Z1motorsport. One of the best things about my new clutch is how light it is on the pedal. My previous 2 clutches, the 1st an RPS max and the 2nd a Z1 road clutch, were as heavy as fook. Tha latter also fooked my RPS lightweight flywheel which I had anticipated when I bought the new Exedy track clutch and I also bought their version of the lightweight flywheel. It took 2 hours to complete with me holding the lamp and Jimmer juggling the spanners. He was not much of host tho' as he never even offered me a coffee.;) So new clutch in, weather appalling, and a strong desire to drive the beast, but not in this. I have got my new tension rods, the solid type now currently residing in the boot of the Zed so I might as well fit them one night instead. Profec B on the way so another job and of course Nismo 555's awaiting fitting - by Jimmer. Spare ECU away with you know who for socketing and a chip. Oh well spring won't be long.
