I'd imagine the car may have been imported from Germany or something like that as when the Z32 first went on sale, Poland was still a communist country and its inhabitants could only purchase crap Eastern block pre-historic papier-mâché cars like the Trabant and Wartburg.

BTW, the film is called 'Kiler'. Might see if I can buy it, it'll most likely have subtitles available if selected.

yeah just seen the info on this through a link i got of petes 21st looks well worth a watch and mentioned it was used by the main character or used in allot of scenes so not just a 1 sec wonder as usual lol

ps :made a note of a few other titles that look worth a watch or at least a download ?

if you set it to region 1 yes, but it wont work if you wanted to play it through a dvd player onto your tv even if your dvd player is region free and the picture is in NTSC not PAL

no trouble with region on pc as said once selected however i have had some trouble playing subtitled discs through my pc !

I'm a bit concerned as I've just ordered my father a Portuguese film about the '74 revolution (he was living in Porto at the time!) and I'm getting it shipped from the US. I am guessing it'll be a region 1, so he'll only be able to watch it on his PC.

probally or get him a cheap region free dvd player, or again send me the disc and ill make up a copy which ill make region free

I don't think he has an all singing-all-dancing DVD player. It's quite new, but I don't think it's region-free.

....could you then copy the disk face and print off a cover for the DVD itself?

No. use any dvd and copy the dvd, you loose the region coding and still have everything intect

car looked great, you mainly see it pulling up outside his flat and there is a bit where he races away when somebody is shooting at him, not the best film though mate, some of the acting is laughable, and the story is a little wierd too, oh and the spelling mistakes in the english subtitles dont help either
