recently got 2 turbos of ebay as one of mine was goosed ....only to find out tht wen i came to fit thm 1 of the ones i bort was duff to well gutted ...sent email to the guy lets hope i get refund ....NOT IMPRESSED LIKE !!!!!!:mad::headvswal

They could have been good turbo's when removed and if they were lying around for a while the seals could have perished. Always best to buy new or refurbed with a guarantee.

I brought some turbos off ebay too only to find that when they went to be fitted on the car they didnt fit. The guy advertised them to fit a 300zx but they were for a 200sx instead. I was not best pleased to say the least.

think brand new stock tubs are only 400 quid a pair from Z1 in america, ill go for them if mine ever wear out.

the original one on the car smakes n the one i bort is bit sticky n dont spin freely...the garage told me tht they can make a gd one out the 2 nakerd ones like......mite jst scrap the idea of standard one n get 2 t28 roller bearings ?

you can buy new oem cores for £200-odd each... but they're obviously not stagger-gap seals...

Its around £1000 delivered for a set of New stock turbos from the states, or £600 delivered for a set of cores (CHRA) and you use your original turbo caseings to build them up to a complete turbo.

eclipse performance in sunderland...seem a really gd place like really no wat they doin.

eclipse performance where are those guys, i normally use ESR (east shore racing) leechmeere they done all the work i cant do in the street lol

east shore racing is spot on from what i hear, known phil and crew for some time now

 

eclipse performace are just down from the echo 24 building, next to joblings body shop, they are a rally suport team, not sure on what the work is like though as i aint heard anything about them
