Had the chance for a ride in a new GT-R while I'm over here in the states. I went out to the MidwestZfest in Tulsa Oklahoma over the past 4 days and it was fantastic. I'll get some photos up when I'm back in the UK.

It was a monster of a car with the most amazing braking and handling system I've ever experienced. I'm still not over-awed with the looks and interior, but the mechanicals were out of this world!

It has a wonderful driving position too.

After that, I had a ride in a 700+bhp Z32 TT which felt every bit as quick through the mid-range powerband after it had actually managed to start gripping! 3rd gear has always been a good gear in the Z32 TT and this just opened the thing up into an animal! I want more power! I now hate stock TT performance, it's sloooowwwwwww!

/excitement over!

Perfect examples of money not being able to buy skill if you ask me. They may be able to afford a GT-R but they certainly can't use one!

Still reckon Henry Ford was right when he said that only a very small percentage of the world's population will ever learn to drive...

I was at the racing academy at the weekend and I don't care what it looks like it goes like STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINK!!!. I've never driven a car that inspires so much confidence in the wet.

The driving instructors there are all raving about it saying it's better than any Porsche or Ferrari.

NUFF SAID.
