I thought it would be a good idea to post a thread up listing all the recognised pubs in the midlands area, like a white/black list...

 

If anyone has any suggestions for local pubs/gathering places please post details up in this thread, and if possible could you speak to the owner/manager to make sure they have no complaints with us turning up.

 

And please no general discussions in here

The assistant manager used to be a member here before being banned for ripping other members off. For this reason this pub is being black listed.

Last time we held a meet here the manageress complained about us, to the point where a letter of complaint was sent off. link 1 link 2

The manageress was apparently reprimanded over this, so we shouldn't have any issues turning up again.

Apparently last time we turned up we had a complaint from the manager(ess).

We have since met here, after the complaint, when I was Midlands REO and we were welcomed with open arms, no problems at all and the food was good, no complaints about the amount of cars etc etc

i think the Forge should be upgraded from 'no known complaints' to 'very recommended' - theyve always welcomed us there and there's nowt wrong with the food either :)

Shame, as that's a nice pub!

There was a very good reason, nobody told them we were coming! Loads of cars suddenly turn up and people swarm all over the car park!

Would be nice to phone in advance IMHO ;)
