Hi all,

 

Just browsing Autotrader and came across this.

 

Apparently all it needs is a fuel pump, an alternator, and an MOT. Problem is it's 198 miles away from me, so is there anyone in the area that would be willing to have a gander at it for me?

 

For the price it could be a bargain (although there's no way of knowing if the turbo's are shot since it doesn't start).

Yeah, the downside is i can't check the engine, but saying that there's one on the For Sale section here that I'm interested in, so i'll hold off on this one :D

That garage is only a short walk from my house, mate.

 

If you want I can still wander down - just to put your mind at rest......

Yeah, by all means take a gander if you have the time, but the fact that I can't check the engine is a big put off. Would be interesting to see what the rest of it is like though :D

Hehe probably, shame I don't have the space (or knowledge) to break it, or even to change the engine (if that's all that's needed) :D

hi i phoned the garage about that black tt today tha guy said that it was brought in with those faults on it so the parts are only about a ton to get it running but i left it alone because theres more to it than meets the eye otherwise they would have done the repair and not part ex it ,,,,

LOL, always makes me laugh when people say stuff like that! If it only costs £100 and it will add upwards of a grand onto the value, what possible reason is there not to fix it! :rofl: :rofl:

well its worth 3x the price in parts if you wanted to break it, even with a dead engine.

Nowhere to store it though unfortunately
