I'm just trying to gauge interest at the moment, a few of us went down to Le Mans this year but we all made our own arrangements for travel/camping etc...

Next year I think it would be nice if a few of us could go down together and make a nice club meeting out of it with the possibility of then heading over to Germany for the autobahn and Nurburgring.

I was thinking of organising it such that you could come down and meet up for Le Mans or the Nurburgring or both.

So could I have a show of hands to see if it's worth me taking time to organize this as a club.

P.S. Le Mans weekend is the 13th/14th June '09 (Ticket prices aren't confirmed yet but they were about 60 Euros this year)

P.P.S Some pics from this year Le Mans can be found here

booked my tickets today

for any1 who is tempted... it worked out just over £120 per person for 6 people; that includes 6 entry tickets, 2 blue north pitches and return crossing on the eurotunnel for 2 cars.

people who are looking at going in 09 and havent yet booked campsites, they are rapidly running out of space, most campsites are already full so get your booking in asap...

Sorry I haven't kept up to date with this, I almost forgot I put it up :slap:

I was looking to go the same dates as Joely, but without the including the Nurburgring partly due to little interest and partly because my Z is going to be off the road.

I missed the Friday night festivities last year as I didn't get there till 8 and was knackered after driving all the way and breaking down twice: once on the ferry where it decided to deposit all it's coolant next to a '69 Shelby GT500 (to be honest I nearly did when I saw it) and just north of Rouen it ran out of fuel when the gauge stuck at 1/4 tank :headvswal

can we all try at least to get into the same campsite, I started off in Bausejoir (sp?) last year and moved to blue north. It looks like blue north is sold out now, but there were *loads* of tickets for it on ebay last year. So can I suggest we all aim for blue north as it's closer to the entrance and with better amenities.

Sorry for the late reply, haven't been on the forums much recently.

Nothing's happened to it as such, just taking it off the road for financial reasons, and I can't afford the rebuild while it's on the road.
