Autobox change

hia gents

 

my autobox might be a duffer does anyone know of a write up to do a swap not to manual but just auto for auto is it a straight forward job??

 

any help much appreceated

    Hi Dewi

    Sorry to hear about your box.

    The job is straight forword enough the only hard part is the top bell housing bolts. You have to put a jack under the front pully and i used a zip gun with a load of extensions.

    If you want to borrow my gun its at Dave Macs and its battery opperated so no need of a compressor.

    Have a search for when i did mine, there was alot of info on changing it. Don't forget to change the rear seal on the crankshaft @ back of engine!!
