Here are some boring pix of my car in a state is sanded and filled but its getting there. My mate is helping but I have decided to do most of the work myself (get my hand in) and when it comes to the spraying, well I am going to have a go at that too. Nothing wrong with trying a new thing is there?

Anyway I will feel better if I do it myself it sort of goes with the whole theme as I have done everything else myself :)

Fookin hell Vijay. You should be screaming mate. I hope its worth the wait for you. Mine isnt going to be a fantastic job but I am confident it will be very presentable. :)

The main thing is you're learning on the way and not being funny, you say it won't be fantatsic but a lot of the jobs you pay for ain't all that ;) sure it'll come out well if you're prep work is good.

Good on ya for giving it a go yourself

surely it's not going to be painted in a garage and not in a booth?

not a problem to the experts...life before booths;)

Its not exactly a garage. It is a bit shabby but its got all the equipment needed and there have been a few good re-sprays out of there to date.

Of course a proper booth would be nice but also expensive and as the saying goes..............beggers cant be choosers. :D

Nah? Thats not so mate. Anything can be repaired and TBH I am not looking for perfection. All in all so far its costing me about £300 in materials. Like I said I am doing it all myself. Well with my mates help but as far as using all proper equipment goes its my first attempt. So no, not perfection but I am confident it will be very acceptable. The worst thing is fitting the time in between shifts. I get about 2-3 hours a day after work but it will be ready for JAE. Whatever it comes out like it will be better than it was:D

good on ya mate:bow:

Done a few smaller jobs myself and would suggest for teh sake of a bit of extra leccy that a 500/1000watt light warming the panel up that is next to be sprayed will help you a bit....

Total respect you you Vini.

Got to admire anyone that has the guts to do it themselves.

Thanks Bri. I wasnt being snotty by the way Lampy

thats ok mate i didnt realise you were doing the job yourself, thats different
