I just bought a nissan 300zx (jap) it has a restricter on it i cant do more 180k

wreckin my head how do i get rid of it i heard about apexi rsm meter dont really know anything about it can anybody give me more info. thanx

Chipping the ECU will get rid of it...

Or get uk clocks. Then you will be restricted to 180 mph.

There is a company on ebay that you can send your ecu to them and they will fit a stage 3 chip for £50 then when you get ot back just plug it in all sorted, plus then if you want to raise the boost just get a boost controller fitted i think you can run 14psi on standard injectors as long as you have a free flowing exhaust and filter the z runs at 9psi in standard form so quite a gain as long as you get it set up correctly dyno machine ect. hope this helps budd.

Does that work? I thought the restriction came from the ecu and a jap ecu will still know your speed in KMPH so it will still limit it to that.
